Click here"I'd be happy to call you my girlfriend, Captain Jade." Amaliya rubbed her temples. "But in the morning, okay? Until then, I expect to only be awakened by you screaming Emily's name. Or her screaming yours. Or by the wonderful smell of Lúcia's cinnamon oatmeal. Whichever comes first."
"I will watch over you," said Lúcia.
"Thank you, dear. You watch whatever you want tonight. I'll be fine."
"We'll make sure to arrange the couches for a good view." Emily winked in Lúcia's direction.
This just gets better, you set up the Monty Python joke brilliantly. This story really brightens the day.
The prompt on the comment asks what did I think?
Well i think it's blumin marvellous , I'm really lovin this series and each chapter seems better than the last somehow, and that is saying something. I can't really single out a particular favourite part but the line from the The Life of Brian about Megacomf Brian not being the messiah but a naughty boy was right up there. Lucia is just a sweetheart with her " I like to watch"
Stonking good story as ever Wax , thank you

Is there an Arnold Schwarzenegger automation in there somewhere? I thought for sure he would put in an appearance with the "come with me if you want to live" line in here. Still enjoying this lighthearted tale. Nice of Emily to give Val a happy ending. Such considerate pirates. Keep the stories coming Wax. Thank you for sharing.
