I liked. I definitely thought she was cheating but happy to be wrong.

A good 4 stars

Good story, but she made a serious mistake. There was no reason that she could not take her husband into her confidence, tell him of her concerns, and reassure him that she had her priorities right. Then he could have known the marriage was safe and keep his trust in her.

Agree with @Just_Words that the wife handled this situation poorly. Her husband should have been the first person she turned to for support in this set of circumstances. Comp time from work (not time taken from family!) spent with a therapist correcting the reason he was not her first thought should be a prerequisite prior to any consideration of her accepting another promotion. This marriage is in significant jeopardy.

The explanation she gave of the trip doesn't explain her failure to follow their travel rule, her failure to answer his questions directly, her kissing Harold Shivers, her behaviour with the guy at the early event nor her being so late telling him about the trip and so very late telling him about the extra night and reason she suspected was behind it. Simply put, this story doesn't make sense. There was no reason for her to fail to be completely up front with her husband.

good but she is still cheating, LOL. Interesting that at first, she is a stay at home Mom, then only works school hours, then full time, then a potential VP. We know nothing of her schooling, qualifications, or what the job is? Who handles the family finances?

Multiple personalities. She's fucking Ted And Shriver. And fucking over her husband.

Too bad the husband just took her at her word. Sounds like she is fucking her hubby over. And how did she go from mom to part time to full time to potential VP. She must be one hell of an employee

I would buy her innocent explanations of everything except for one incident.

Mr Shriver blocks her path, gives her a long, deep kiss and fondles her ass while kissing her.

Yet, now he's supposedly her benevolent benefactor who kept her overnight in Baltimore so she could meet his wife prior to her being promoted?

Those two versions of Mr Shriver don't mesh and in my mind calls her whole story into question.
