Great Story!

Nice easy read, well thought out and presented. Can't wait to read the alternate version

I love a feel good story with a nice ending. Yeah, I am just an older man with a romantic streak and this kind of story does it for me. Funny thing is, as I read the story I thought about a week spent in Sedona and how it looked like a lot of other places except for the impressive scenery. Hopefully all of the story was fictional.

Very nice

Not only nice but well written. Thank you!

As a dad and grampa it's a story that makes me think if I could be that nice.

I hope so!

I can however give you five stars.

Fun read

Thanks for a fun story. Happy feeling, one that most of us old goats fantasize about. I gave you 5***** because it made me feel good.

Regards,

It made me cry.

I hope this was true. I'm a 59 yr old man a lot like Mike. I always stop and help anyone in trouble and when asked to be paid for helping I always say for them to pay it forward and help someone else.

Terri from Tri-Cities

You really stretched out the time to get to Pasco.

day one

"We neared the town of Hawthorne about three PM, and I was more than ready to pull off for the night."

Tonopah to Hawthorne, 103 miles, maybe 1 hour & 30 min. An hour and half after lunch, 3:00 p.m., and it's time for a motel room and dinner.

day two

Hawthorne to Reno, 134 miles, 2 hours and 15-20 minutes.

Reno to Klamath Falls, 254 miles, 4 and a half hours.

breakfast in Hawthorne, two and half hours later, lunch in Reno, and four and half hours later it's time for another motel and dinner.

day three

Klamath Falls to Pasco, 386 miles, 6 and a half hours

with lunch, a decent days drive. add another hour after the fiasco at her parents farm to get to Yakima, and they actually covered some miles.

day four from Yakima to Olympia is a leisurely 4 hour drive to get home.

They were not in a hurry.

Follow up

I would love to see a follow up of this story where they go back to the commune and torture all of the individuals there
