When I didn't move, when I refused to turn toward her, she reached out to capture my chin and turn it toward her. Even in the darkness of the car, lit only by a street light, I could see the intensity of the emotion in those beautiful, chestnut brown eyes. She was serious...and she was finally ready. I swallowed, wondering if, once again, I was moving too fast. Things had just ended with Bruce. Maybe I needed to slow this down, take my time, get to know her again...
