Very well done. Took one star off, however, because you say Remy's hair had grown long. Women's hair does not grow at a faster rate than men and would not suddenly become long just because a man became woman by nonmagical means.

Hair and nail growth would be an obvious method to expel excess body mass, especially protein (muscle tissue).

In fact, _any_ sort of massive teratogenic modifications would be able to alter the speed of hair growth more easily than softening and reshaping bone.
