I enjoy how Agemon's and Praxis' friendship deepens. The little Agemon exchanged with Cora made me guffaw; at the same time, how he obtained where Telestes lived from the merchant impressed me. I just didn't see Dion being able to stab himself coming; it's just comeuppance, but does expand the mess for the current king to deal with.

Appropriate pacing between dialogue with Agemon/Praxis, both of them with the soldiers, Praxis' interlude with Astara, then the battles with the Spartans and running down Telestes: it appears you made sure everyone enjoyed equal airtime. Well planned! 5

Would have brought Telestes body back to Corinth and have a confession prepared admitting he murdered the Spartans.

Seems to me that Praxis could use a win. Plenty of excitement, but one catastrophe after another can get just as boring as smooth sailing.

Astara is such an infuriating character. Reminds me way too much of the women I’ve come across in life. Everything is about them and screw the consequences and others but the moment they get in trouble for their actions it’s everyone else’s fault
