Two things kept popping into her mind. I think those two things will satisfy the other commentors. And myself.

Plainly, you intended to write a part 2. Why else would you place this piece in the "Incest/Taboo" category? I suggest that the arrangement morph into an 8-person exchange including the two younger couples. And why do we rarely if ever find the males experimenting with each other in these arrangements?

This is one of your better stories and it does need a part 2 with a summer of the 8 coming together!
