You told this story in the "first person," so if Tim didn't actually see Tina make the "small dick" gesture, it would be impossible for him to relate it in the story. Tim could have said he saw it out of the corner of his eye, or the story could have been told in the "third person," in which case you might have written, "But what Tim couldn't see was that Tina ...."

I'm not much into SPH, but your story was otherwise well-constructed.
