I have to say, that was one beautiful story. I could not stop reading it and it is now 2:30 in the morning. DreamCloud should be very proud of himself for writing such a fantastic story.

Awesome story. The author has a good insight into human behavior. Putting ourselves aside and putting our best forward, this story becomes believable. The ending made it awesome.

This was one of the sweetest stories that I have ever read. It reminds me of the last lines to the movie Pretty Woman. Richard Gere asks, "What happens after the knight saves the princess", to which Julia Roberts replies "She saves him right back". A Perfect Ending

Although personally if I had Dales kind of money the scumbags that hurt Mia...well no one would find the bodies!

Of course in the real world the detox stage is a lot longer, can be a whole lot worse and full rehab is waay longer!

But this is fantasy so no worries.

I know it is not a macho thing to say, but that ending brought a tear to my eye. Well written.

Readers, take the story at face value. Do not try to make it conform to your ideas of what is real or even likely. Just read it and you will simply enjoy every minute you are reading.

What a warm and loving tale of two people who rediscovered love by saving each other from death so to speak, Mia save Dale from certain death when he got stung by the Jellyfish and Dale saved Mia from a certain but timely death of circumstances by her heroin addiction. Story was well written and had a great storyline. Well Done 5++stars

Wonderfully crafted to engage all your emotions. Characters who are appealing and engaging. As well as the romantic aspects, the description of Dale seeking to pleasure Mia by listening to her needs is totally arousing. An excellent read throughout.

I enjoyed this story to begin with but it increasingly lost touch with the real world, and I need stories to have some grounding in the reality of human nature. I got as far as the page where the hero shows his new girlfriend/ junkie/ retired whore his net worth. This was after they had known each other for less than a week and he had already proposed marriage to her. Lets get real. You might like the lady, she may have a fantastic body, but junkies turned whores come with a lot of baggage, including possibly criminal pimps in their background. You don’t go showing them your Crown Jewels until a lot of time has passed and you are sure that they are off heroin and they are not going to run back to their pimp. So, to me, this story lacked credibility and I didn’t read to the end. 4 stars.

Love this story, nice to find one occasionally that isn't all sex. Well written and intriguing. Who need reality, when you can have a love story this cool.

Stopped reading before I got to anything erotic. The misogyny and misanthropy was a serious turnoff.

Great story but no sex- which is why we enjoy Literotica. Gave you a 4 star for no sex, but the writing deserves a 5.

A very well thought out story, nicely paced with great characters and plot, to make it really good it needs to be redone, putting the missing words in where you have left them out it reads as a young teenager talks in so many place’s that just takes the top off the cream for me. Proof read it twice…..

Loved the story, but it made me a bit jealous. I started out similarly to Dale socially, but didn't end up with millions and a perfect love match, even though I didn't get to be antisocial.

Love the ending where Monica's character was given the biggest relevance. Without his grandma's last letter. This story couldn't have a better ending note. This is what a wholesome story is. I came for sexual read and got healing.

My only complaint is the accelerated timeframe for love and marriage to occur. It just isn't realistic enough to keep it engaging but authors just keep doing it. Other than that, it was an entertaining read.

I suspect that pummel187 may be asking what happened to the wreckage of the original boat. I'd guess that if the boat cost $33K in 2014, there was at least a fair-sized engine to be dredged up, along with a lot of rigging, even though some of the "planking" might someday pass for driftwood.

But if pummel knows enough to appreciate the difficulties of clearing crap like that off a seashore, he can probably propose a better description of the recovery process than the rest of us anyway. Perhaps, while Mr. Tomlinson was still in the hospital, Monica had high-priced marine-salvage crews come in by sea under cover of night to clear all the wreckage away from Mr. T's pristine beach.

I still wish they had done a prenup of some kind. For half of $1 billion, I worry that Dale will die in some strange accident, a week later Mia will die in some strange accident, and then a mysterious and previously unknown relative of Mia's will suddenly appear and inherit. Now any lawyers that are still reading this can explain to me how naïve and misguided those fears are.

I both love and hate crying when I read a story, great job. Superb story line.

Loved the story. I'm sure tgere,will be complaints that nobody could love and marry a prostitute i worked with a guy years ago who did just that and the last I heard they are still happily married. I like stories where sex is part of the life of the characters, not the whole purpose of the story.

Good story even though not realistic. It would have improved the ending if Mia had contacted Monica to prepare a prenuptial agreement protecting Dale's assets from any possible behavior in the future by Mia.

Dale was unnecessarily cruel to Monica. He rewarded her loyalty and excellent work by yanking on her chain. Also, it would have been interesting to know why Mia blamed herself so severely for the deaths of her husband and her son.
