Great

Another top-notch long story. Compares favorably with Chance Encounter and Blameless Bystander.

Superb writing!!!!

Well AW, I loved your ending mainly because I had foreseen most of it and even suspected a possible Lambert / Crossman / Persky collaboration. However, I wouldn't in a million years have suspected Floyd (a stroke of genius AW) but when you gave us the "red herring" regarding Jeannette and Aaron (clearly based on information provided by Floyd) he became, to me, the prime suspect. Yes you neatly tied all the loose ends except one – Frank and Trudy really should have had a heart to heart talk about their experiences with Gloria which is hanging like the sword of Damocles above both their heads. Yes another great long story, on a par with your Chance Encounter and Blameless Bystander series. Superb writing AW – don't keep us waiting too long for your next epic! Pete.

Another fine story.

You managed to keep the suspense up into the last

chapter. The resolution was completely reasonable

within the framework. The idea that Trudy is willing

to give the group back to Gloria surprises me a bit.

It seemed too important to be left in the hands of such

fragile person.

Alvin was really off his game from the moment he was

against Frank becoming CFO. He was damned lucky that he

did not sink the company. One aspect of this story is that

it becomes difficult to decide who is important within the

company. Alvin's weakness was a benefit in the end!

I still do not like Frank and Trudy not telling each other

about their problems with Gloria. It does not feel like behaviour for two such down to earth people.
