But what's with all the "-" at the beginning of paragraphs? Weird and not needed.

Beth confirmed that Massimo told Christina about the bet. He forfeited the bet. He lost. Now, beat him unconscious with a tennis racket and castrate the piece of shit. (Too much? Maybe it's the Uplander in me. I just really hate that sack of crap. Disgusting excuse for a human being)
