Don’t write about court procedures if you have no experience or haven’t done any research beyond watching “Law & Order”. Additionally, the same goes for trying to write about marriage counseling. They forget that fiction must be believable for it to be interesting and hold the reader's attention. They write these idiotic ending scenes where the bad guys/gal end up completely destroyed. This writer gutted it up and made it a reconciliation story, which pissed off the BTB cabal. I'm surprised the score broke 1.0.

This Ch. 02 Sucks big time. The slimy slut Mal should have gone down big time along with the others. And the cuck Hank should thrive on other guys leavings.

I liked the entire series, but this chapter was a let down for the reasons already noted by other commenters. I too wondered about the drugs, as it wasn't noted in any of the videos, or the transcripts. So when did it happen? Also I felt the end was rushed into the RAAC just to finish it. Lots of holes that were never filled in an otherwise good story. I'm glad the 3 others got what was coming to them, but felt it could have been done in an epilogue instead of the actual story. An editor was definitely needed for this chapter though, as it might have slowed it down (felt rushed), and corrected the mistakes like Mal becoming Mel several times on a single page for instance.

I love a RAAC story, when deserved. This wasn't deserved, she should have ended up like the other three. Her parents were no better, the whole thing after good parts 1 & 2 was pathetic. 3* and that's being generous.

Good emotions and complicated story. However, I can never give a five when physical violence Is wreaked on one of the characters as retribution. It diminishes the suffering of the original injured party as vengeance is rarely satisfying and usually sets up further cycles of violence and grief.

I liked this story until the end. You portrayed the wife as the victim but she went willingly. All the lunch, the kissing, getting fingered at lunch, going away for a weekend with two men neither of which were her husband. Spending the whole weekend fucking. Then the excuse is they drugged her? This story was really good until the end. The MC needed to kick the wife to the curb and start over. This leaves a bad taste.

How was the date rape drug knowledge ascertained? Sounds plausible given her reactions as the night went on. Then she went into a disassociated state the next several days. So probably repeat dosing. But she communicated to him she was stating lo ger than planned. But how was the date rape drug evidence a known quantity? He did not know it at time of divorce. Was their evidence in the video on the three other days he did not watch? Or did he miss something on the first night. Surprised PIs wouldn't pick that up and put in report. Suspect was left out to heighten the drama and get the divorce through and she did not even know at counseling sessions, otherwise woukd be first words out if her mouth. Besides she was willingly going along with all the months of flirting and sexual innuendo and minor infidelities before that. What pisses me off is he knew what was going to happen and didn't stop it. He had so much forewarning, he could have aborted it in multiple ways. Get someone to hack into Marie's emails to Jameson and Kolinsky. PIs to follow them for a few weeks. Combined with the dossier he had on Marie. The whole "would you have believed it" argument was specious and nonsensical. It would have planted serious doubt. Yes she was raped (apparently) for two days and two half days but we know so little of the mechanics as the deus ex machina of date rape drugs (though the method fits) comes out of nowhere. Heck he had PIs and lawyers ready yo go. Serve on Saturday morning as well as the rest. He had all the evidence. Letting it drag out is bizarre. He had total readiness but did nothing but punish when it hit the fan. As prior commented posted he lost all agency. Distasteful and craven. Confront! Argue! Intervene! You can still divorce. What did he gain by letting her go to the weekend except being able to hammer the company? Ok then why let it go all the way through? Serve on Saturday. Still have all you need. Marie with Jameson and Kolinsky with Mallory. Look she got seduced and put herself In a bad situation and then got raped repeatedly (assuming date rape drugs were used without her knowledge or consent) that weekend. If he really wants out if his marriage due to the prior months and hee not going with the family that weekend, then fine let it play out Friday night and them serve them all that weekend. If there is any shot at reconciliation, then present all the communications, pre weekend video, and dossier on Marie beforehand. Mallory might be pussed. Might argue, but you can tell her she already cheated and considering a divorce or at least separation and post nuptial. You already have the money from your business parked in Cayman Islands. You are prepped. So why not confront and then try to save marriage and have real counseling before the crazy rape gangbang weekend? Either he didn't want the marriage, in which case let it happen and get evidence and serve on weekend to bust up their plans or intevrne and try to save marriage. Being passive when you have all the information avaliable is either cowardly or just dumb. Again he lost all agency. They divorce, he sets her up to be fired, and he gets the kids due to a clause that I can never see her and her lawyer agreeing to, and she is bereft and depressed. Then two years later out comes the deus ex machina and he has already forgiven her (when?) and they merrily reconcile in short order. First two chapters were good. Except he let the weekend happen. This chapter was, though well written, a definite letdown. I like a good reconciliation as much as the next guy, but not a RAAC like this within the span of a page. Especially given his passive attitude to let it play. Learning she was raped. But then all her infidelities beforehand, and the depth of pefidy that Friday night with their song, Kolinsky bashing him, and her not pushing back for her husband. Of course the macguffin of the date rape drugs clicks a lot of that into place but meh, the reconciliation was too simplistic, short and seem3d unwarranted as it stands for multiple reasons. Her text that she is staying an extra day and will be acknowledged late Monday night is also hard to explain when so drugged. Lot of holes for reconciliation ending.

The reconciliation was rather forced to me, the date rape did not excuse the months of her kissing another man and belittling him on her lunch dates, that was all her, no drugs involved. Even how she acted on going to spa weekend, what did she was going to happen? She was already cheating on her husband before then, sorry, but it didn't do it for me. As for BTB, not really into the violent ones or anything like that, but she ruined her own marriage, she has to live with it and he needed to move on, some way, somehow. Maybe it would have been better, if the MC found out that she was drugged, by the fact her friend told her that she was given some stuff in her drinks that weekend to make her relax. Then it would have been a bit more plausible that they reconciled. Other than that, the story was well written.

YES AND NO Mal did not have the date rape in her when she was playing up at the lunches ans when she decided to go to the spa weekend so Surely as a smart and successful woman she was not totally stupid ????? But she then claims she barely remembers anything of the next couple of days until she saw the video? Umm the reconciliation was nonsensical. Date rape drugs suddenly enter the conversation, though she has no proof. She got a shark lawyer in the divorce. She lost the kids. She out herself into an obvious setup for cheating and being manipulated and victimized. She claimed to know something was off the next morning (implying the drugs) but went for another three days of fuckings, even adding a Monday. So she suspected she was drugged, yet went back for more drug induced sex. Dialog on last page was weird. Instant forgiveness. True love. Soul mates. Yet she chucked her husband. Didn't defend him. Went willingly to spa feeling she earned it. She had already been fingered to an orgasm in a club beforehand. Why did husband not confront her with that tape and tell her drop the spa trip and go to counseling as she already chested or a divorce? Why let her fill up a bunch of fuck videos over four days? She already knee her many lunches and the escalating sexual acts were totally inappropriate. Confront before she goes to the spa. Instead he makes some half hearted attempt, dodging her most ofnthendays leading up to it, and finds she already decided and he gets pissed. His lack of assertiveness means he lost all agency. They got her drunk and then drugged her and she sucked and fucked small dick Derek on Friday night. But the nail in the coffin, is she knew something wasn't right Saturday morning, her own words, and she freaking STAYED and got fucked by all the participants, being repeatedly drugged (presumably) for another three days. Sure she was used, but she did NOT leave. That is a death knell for the marriage and makes any reconciliation implausible. The crappy dialog and sudden changes in personality of the MC and the ex-wife made it nonsensical. One of those lame "magic occurs here" RAACs. Author made it too black and white. Yes manipulation, yes drugs and drinking, but so what? Her just owning up to it ONLY after confronted with the video doesn't mean a heck of a lot. Uggh.

I usually don’t mind the reconciliation stories but you did 2.5 chapters destroying her character and about 1 paragraph with no repercussions for it getting them back together seemed like the story was written from someone who as never known this decision making process write what we know or guess what we write other than that was a well written story

Nice, ultimately "sweet" story, but too telegraphic in it's writing. Made it a bit too saccharine and hurt the credibility. And one has to ask whether a couple would really come back from that. A question of credibility not really resolved.

I simply can't agree with the author's premise that women lack moral agency and are, thus, not accountable for their actions. The wife was not forced to do anything she CHOSE to do. She may have been slipped a drug before she actually fucked her lover but, had she not CHOSEN, to disrespect her husband, engage in petting sessions with someone other than her husband, and chosen a weekend with her lover over her kids and husband, she would never have been there to be drugged. Women DO have moral agency, and ARE accountable for their actions.

Despite disagreeing with the premise, the story was well written and enjoyable until th Doc turned into a willing cuck.

She seems to be a weak, manipulative, and treacherous woman and if Hank retrusts her his future delusions are all on him... he was given a harsh and valuable lesson in reality and if he refuses to learn then he only has himself to blame for his future pain.

Even if the plot development and characters are not to my taste I'll give it 4/5 for literary quality and for making the effort to tell the story for us.

Very, very unconvincing. Sorry. I don't believe someone could forgive, or if so, forget such an infidelity. Especially in a husband so deliberate. A wife so easily manipulated could not be trusted going forward. Neither a social-only or open marriage would survive such deception unless the offended spouse had no self respect and the protagonist here clearly had it.

All the angst about BTB vs. RAAC is wasted to my mind. Simpler to say, the cheating spouse fucked up, divorce, and move on after learning from mistake to better relationships. The consequences (and the stories) ought to be about resulting sacrifices and learning from them. For the offended spouse, sacrificing immediate convenience for seeking trust in a new relationship. For the offending one, paying the price, realizing the costs there-of, and learning from them for the next relationship. The stories that strike this balance are the most interesting ones to me. Or the literary twists on it. Some of the Literotica authors do this well and give thoughtful and entertaining stories at the same time.

Nice story. But just a story none-the-less. I don't buy the forgiveness premise. No devoted spouse would stay in a marriage after such memories of infidelity. Think of that movie in his head! Such a revelation would definitely turn the offended spouse into an 'infidel'- an unbelieve. Some marriages might survive, but it would be staying together from some insecurity rather than love and trust. I would guess that most would not. Divorce and moving on would be the only strategy for most. Or for the offending spouse, learn and move on. I would have liked the story more has the author had the characters struggling more with the fall-out. The reconciliation makes no sense absent some deep-rooted insecurity of the husband, and that character seemed much to self-assured for that.

Not a bad story, even if a RAAC, but why does these LW authors write about men that can't seem to move on from their ex's? Maybe it's in a guys DNA to stay comfortable, like an old pair of shoes.. She made a terrible mistake and it's sad but there are plenty of women out there. All it takes is a step forward, even if its too hard, which is easier said than done but none of these guys don't even think about doing that.

I like how the foreplay lunches, which had no drugs involved at all, were never mentioned again. Everything is blamed on the supervillain Marie and the fact that Mallory is a grown-ass woman who LET a total stranger come between her and her family.

Anyone with half a brain would've recognized the bitch for what she was and seen that her words and actions were nothing but self-serving bullshit. That is, unless, those words were what they WANTED to hear in the first place. Marie wouldn't have succeeded if Mallory wasn't receptive to begin with. She was primed to cheat, Marie just accelerated the process. But then that would represent a deep-seated character flaw in Mallory that she would actually have to work to overcome, and that's not how RAAC works.

Kind of unrealistic. I divorced a cheater I remarried her two years later and five years Into the secound she got knocked up by a 25 year old (she was 45) Mallory will cheat again fur sure.

It is well written,good story base to work with, but unfortunately you ruined it. You presented him as a man but inserted wimpyness at several points as the tale unfolded thru to the end.You also tried to hard to make him a unbelievably good guy. When in laws asked where she was,in real life he would have explained exactly where and why she was,no point not to as it would all come out anyway in the divorce. (he did not,Wimped Out, on the pretext of protecting their feelings).When discussions on her going,knowing what he did, in real life a husband would have said a simple"NO your NOT, only if divorced you are".He did not(Wimped out). If she did chose to go anyway,a husband would have had a prepared divorce papers handed to her on the way out the door, not for infidelity but for the planning to do so.He did not(wimped out). The most unbelievable is after having watched the videos of her weekend, him still helping her get reestablished and reinstating shared custody. Plain BS,never happen.
