This story seems very very similar to another story here in lit. I believe the story was called “Endagered”. I sincerely hope you did not ripoff that story to create your own. I will continue reading this since it so far seems like a well written and interesting story but there are many similarities in what things are called and the situation developing as a whole

This does seem very similar to endangered but as that story has gone cold..... carry on, just be aware anyone who has read the other story will certainly notice the similarities.
