As usual, I find myself wondering, why my life has always been about survival. no doubt I'm at fault somehow, and as of yet, I've not figured it out yet.

Very nice! The daydreaming component was a bit distracting at first, but not enough to take away a star.

I am in the process of writing the Book 3 of this saga, which I'm hoping to complete before the winter, and, as is hinted at in Book 2, Korwyn and Clive have been intrinsically linked by a witch's spell since the Black Dragon attack on Korwyn a decade earlier. I am hoping that Book 3 will add clarity and resolve a few tantalising teases from Book 2.

Quite an excellent read. Just finished The Witches, also quite excellent. Nice to know you as SpencerFiction also. I enjoy all your work and imagination.
