I am only a novice writer as well, but this was a fantastic start. It was a great romance starter and you would do well to flesh out the idea....to perhaps writing a longer story. Only my humble thoughts. Cap

Very much enjoyed this story. It seemed to be a little light on the conjugal interactions but, that aside it is still first class.
