Your tale brings back vivid memories of a backpacking holiday in Lewis and Harris, walking along the machair, the huge, endless sky, camping in Glen Laxadale, the cuckoo calling until midnight - and starting again at three in the morning! You should have won the Christmas contest and you should win this one.

I feel that you shortened your story so that people would read it and vote for it on the contest. Not only that but you short changed us on the plot development. You move right into the sex of the story and then abruptly end it. Try again. I feel that there are better stories then this in the earth day contest.

As I told you when I read it, it's very well written and you should seriously consider getting some of your work published.

I can't agree with Anonymous from Colorado, USA's comment. Granted this story was fast-tracked, but it was beautiful nonetheless. I do think that you could put more into this story with that skill of yours, but this is enough for the moment. If you've done it longer, you'd have been publishing a harlequin for us all to read ;) Keep writing! And next time, take a little more time for plot development :)
