Poor Yassi. She better act fast if she wants to exercise the one bit of power she still has left to herself. As long as that monster doesn't know about it, he can't order her to not take that action. On a related note, contraceptive herbs are a thing in this world, right? In other fantasy worlds that I've read about, there are consequences to taking too much of those. I wonder if that is a thing in this world as well? It may be Yassi's one hope, besides death.
