Idk, honestly no I'm not sure what to think. First dude left his stuff alone with person he knew was thief. Now he just picks up some con man with him -.-

It makes absolutely no sense, it honestly feels more like some fairy tale hero's journey where stuff just happens because "fate" aka. author said so.
