I really like these focused short stories. Great job, and now excuse me while I check out another one of yours :)

You capture the dissolution of a marriage and the reawakening of someone who had forgotten how to smell the roses. Your metaphors regarding the rottening apple tree, for example, display an adept touch in capturing the vagaries of the human mind and heart that can exist between two yearning people. This story is one of the best I've read on Lit. More please.

A very good short story. it was tender, loving and just a bit sexy the way these two woman played out the scene.
