It was okay, but 42 isn't mature, it's middle age. Just because one is older than the other doesn't mean it needs to be in the mature category.

One pet peeve, though (as a retired editor): "the difference between a woman who actually enjoyed sex and one whom did not." It's not "whom," it's "who," as the subject of the descriptive clause.

Any young man who is able, even for just a little while, to take an experienced, 40-something lover, is the recipient of a priceless blessing. Whether she knows it or not, the one who he ends up spending his life with owes that older woman a debt of gratitude which she can never repay. I have been with the partner of my dreams for over 40 years. My older woman taught me things about life, love, and, yes, sex, that unquestionably made this possible.
