Being able to place it so precisely a few decades ago!

You must have had a spy plane over my home town. Less than a decade later, I too was that geek with a gorgeous Englich teacher. Unfortunately, she broke a lot of teen hearts when she announced she was getting married and moving away from our small towm. Great story, Banjar. Thanks!
