Welcome back. I have loved all of your earlier stories so I was pleased to see a new pair of stories and find that these are equal or better than the rest. I hope we don’t have to wait too long for additional chapters. Thank you for all your great stories!
I really enjoy this story!
If someone is the Chief of Police isn‘t his title Chief instead of Officer?
Or for anytime. I so look forward to a continuation of this story. My wife and I are heading into the holiday season with fond memories of the dog but have two stray cats to keep our spirits up. Thanks for your kindness in writing this tale.
By pushing everything closer together my reader was able to do the full page without interruption.
I love this story because it kind of hits home. I love animals and all of mine, 2 dogs and 3 cats are rescue animals. I have had many of them over the years. Some for several years and some for only a few. I still get bummed out when I lose one and try to get out of the Vet office as soon as possible since no one wants to see a 6'7" 265 lb Fire Fighter/Paramedic former Soldier, bawling like a 9-year-old girl when one of his "Babies" die.
It was kind of ironic as I listened to this story on my phone, I had a cat sitting in my lap the entire time as we both are laying on the hoses on the top of a Fire Truck. (I'm on duty tonight). This cat has been hanging around the Station for a couple of weeks and I'm pretty sure he is going to end up at my house lol. He doesn't meow, he squeaks lol
I have thoroughly enjoyed this read so far. I am going to have to check out your other stories. Thanks for sharing your work. JT
Thank you for coming back to us, and congrats on your nuptials! This series had a nice slow start, and is building wonderfully. I want to get to know these two better now, and can't wait for the next installment. Thanks for sharing again!

in the last 57 yrs i have had to buried too many of mine. have 2 now & when they have passed they will be the last. at 77 & 1/2 yrs old can't take care of them like their need to be.
on 10/25/21 I buried Charlie . reading about Cleo brings the rain in side. the pain is as
real as with a family member. he had been with me for over 10 yrs from a dog pound.
Luciana may eventually have real babies with Chris having the name, DADDY!
