Nicely crafted and well told, the story held my interest all the way through. It had a softness that made the characters sympathetic. Reading it made me feel the same way as listening to Enya's music, romantic and a little sad.

I loved how you tied the story up by using the "cold" symbolically. It was a terrific and heartfelt story.

At first I felt that you'd finished the story a little abruptly but after considering, I think perhaps you did the right thing: let the readers decide the long-term outcome for themselves. An enjoyable and well-written story, properly illustrating the expression "The kindness of strangers..." Makes you feel warm inside.

Brilliant story. I could see how this could be real. The way you wrote your characters in showed they were exactly as you wrote them. Most authors have a hidden agenda to the characters but you kept it spot on. Loved it

Sigh. Such a good love story for a couple of more-or-less everyday people to find themselves in. I adore realistic dialogue like this has. Even more, the inner dialogue Anne had with herself is what turned this into such a great story.

I'm with some others who would like to see how this relationship progresses... as long as the stories end on a positive note.

You write very well. The sequence of events is unusual in this story but not hard to follow. I like the exploration of eroticism from the female point of view.

What I admire most about this story is its efficiency: in a few short pages, the author introduces two characters, tells us enough about each to get us invested in them, then brings them together in a way that feels organic and unforced, but is also very hot. The use of flashbacks, which might seem gimmicky in a lesser writer's hands, works well here: in place of the will-they-or-won't-they trope of most romance stories, the author uses a how-did-they-wind-up-here plot device to good effect. Overall a fun and rather sweet story.
