Too many blatant errors in the first couple of paragraphs destroys the enjoyment of the read. Didn't even finish it. If you can't find an editor or proofreader, at least read it aloud to your self. That will usually catch 90% of the issues.

Great story ! It's too rare to read a story with description like yours, almost poetic.
