Maybe this story got too dark to continue? I noticed the Niko story finished up about five months ago (so there is some hope you will come back) and this story hasn’t been continued in over ten .... it’s definitely interesting , something bad does happen for Miguel to end up in jail (I assume that’s where he is in the flash forwards). Not sure if it’s in this trip or later - in rthe response to th person who feels like something bad will happen on this trip

I wonder if it’s more than just the thought of being out of jail that scares Miguel. And why the title of the series ...(unless I skimmed over something in my urge to be able to get to sleep before 2am:).

Thanks for gracing us with your prose and characters and their stories. There are so many places where I’m just left with tha seriousness when things don’t work out between your characters , although often if you wait long enough they do....
