I know I haven't posted in over a year, but they usually only take a day or so to approve things. I uploaded Chapter 10 on October first. Where do I start? This is my 10th time rereading this story and it is just as good as the first time. Your characters are carefully and beautifully developed and the plot is so intricately woven and crafted, that I hang on to each and every last word.. This story is hands down one of the BEST I have ever read. I longingly hope and pray that I will come online and see the next chapter and the world can finally turn again but until then, I will read it for the 11th and 12th time.

Finally caught up and what an amazing story it is! Glad the author leaves updates on her bio and not just dissapears like I've seen some do *cough* keep up the good work! Also the reason I haven't been able to finish reading it in one sitting it that I keep getting.. Distracted.. Deliciously distracted

I'm so tired of reading sagas that just end in the middle of stories. No conclusion. No satisfaction or heartbreak...just a cliffhanger. Cliffhangers suck. I understand about writers block...but come on Lit. Writers give your fans a break... This is a general complaint against all cliffhangers. Not Twisted Misery in particular.

Don't feel pressure to finish! Being a writer is incredibly reliant on one's mood, and I can imagine you need to be in a certain mood to write this story and do it justice. We all love this story, so take as much time as you need. I'm pretty sure you're the George R. R. Martin of Literotica, and he doesn't buckle under pressure either! why do people that are very good at writing write 9 chapters to a story and then do not finish it. it is a great story with great characters so why not finish it. seems to be a waste of time when the story isn't finished. but then again i am not a writer just a displeased reader.

You wrote that some authors on lit write themself into a corner. I didn't mean ALL Authors. And not all authors abandon writing, lol. I clearly know some are in the middle of working on different things, like outstanding novels, while trying to juggle life's complications. Commenting on here is something I do for the sole purpose of praising the author when I have the words to express just how wondeful I feel the writing is. I just was having a moment of truth about my feelings of said abandoned stories. Sorry about the frustration... but as I've stated before... I was having a moment. I'll probably end up splitting this last paragraph since it's taking so long.

I probably won't post anymore venting comments here that endure for longer than any notes of praise because of my insensitivity that I'm not sure even I can handle with my insensitive impatience issues. I appreciate your commitment to the story though. Life just has a way of getting under one's skin some of the time sometimes.

I got into the spirit of venting (rare for me) after reading and feeling a kinship with the other commenters above me. TwistedMisery, and to other writers, I stand by my words, but wish there was a Reades Vent tab so that writers could understand the frustration or others comments from Reades in general, vs. having to see it attached to your stories.

I get the distinct impression they write themselves into a corner with some of their cliffhangers and can't find a way out. That because they don't have the discipline to hold back and rethink. Instead they post out of energy and urgency hoping the ending or the fix will come. Maybe instead they should walk away from the laptop for a spell instead of posting what clearly isn't going to work. Stop, think, get creative! and get the ending or next chapter squared away before posting impulsively.

Emma's Master eventually was more like a short story. I think it accidentally summed things up by chapter 4. Oops. What to do, what to do. How about the 27 or so chapters I invested in about the vampire. With promises of an ending. The story just got too out there to finish decently and 'believably'. Then the Hamish story. Both were art. But alas, unfinished. I would never write without knowing the ending. It's not life, it's art at its best. Painters know when something is crap and start over. Movies aren't made without a completed story. Don't write if you're not up for it, or post it in a blog somewhere else. Harsh. I know. I'm sorry. But also fed up.
