This was a romantic story of lasting love. There are some advantages to aging gracefully.
Good story well told. Your comment about what happens after retirement rings true. I wondered if it was my fault that my calls, emails and visits to the office were becoming fewer and far between, apparently not.
As I said before this story was wonderful. I loved every word of all four chapters until you ruined it by using the wrong damned car. Everyone knows a woman that special should not be in a crappy challenger. Other than that it was great SS06
Really fine people with a fine life. Two years after retiring, 70% of the people do not you who you are!
Funny thing is that having emeritus status I am going in once a week and people that I do not know show up asking for suggestions...
Especially given the name of the website - That's all
That's right.....Loving Wives! Does everything in the L/W category require cheating or swinging or cuckolding or divorce or revenge or or or or............?
I think not!
True or not, thank you for sharing such a fun and romantic story.

An absolute delight to read. What a great little tale! Well written, plausible and a lot of fun.
Thank you author.
A very touching story about lifelong love. As hard as it is to believe from watching, reading, or listening to the media, there really are couples in love when they marry and 50 years after. Not everyone starts out the first day of their marraige wondering when it will all fall apart. I am truly sick and tired of folks criticizing love stories being in Loving Wife......Is there any doubt indeed that Pam was a loving wife? Not to me.....So quit your griping and just enjoy a good tale! Thanks for writing, Jim
No graphic sex, no cheating or swinging, no bbc, just a warm well written story about a real loving wife and the husband who loves her and is proud of it. Thanks for a great read and a story I can really relate to. Now back to my own loving wife, 54 years and counting
Just a damn good piece of writing. Thanks for sharing.
Great story with many a zig and zag, My only bitch and it really is inconsequential is, rewrite it as a four chapter story - not four separate chapters...easier to read.
Never the less - excellent.
Still, most of us can have this, even with some of the other stuff that is written about mixed in throughout the years. It is called committment to the marriage and love for each other no matter what is suffered by either... Just my opinion.

Thanks for a lot of great stories, and thanks for an ending where everyone did not have to die before you stopped writing!!;

I get that she was a REAL loving wife, but there was no infidelity.
Plus the saccarine content got high enough that they brought in an insulin injection for me. (kidding)
This belonged in Romance.
You also need to work on POV, first, and third person stuff on this one.
Finally a story about a loving couple,in the loving wives genre. Thank You
It warms my heart to read a story about true and real love. As I was reading, I kept waiting for something bad to happen. Was I relieved and glad when only good happened to a real loving couple. It was so refreshing!
Great job and Thank You
Really good narrative, really 'fulsom' characters with depth..... Good tale. Thanks for a great read, kind regards, Mike.
Truly a great piece of writing, this installment a clear 5 no if, ands or buts. Thx.
Brillant, to the point, and above all a LW story in it's best...5*
I am sure you have peers but I know of none better. This is a great story. I gave you a 5 on each of the stories but no comment until now. These stories should be listed as loving wives and the other as cheating wives.

Congrats. Delightful. Four out of five. Boston to Birmingham is a masterpiece and now I am reading your older stuff. Great writing. Perhaps this should be in romance rather than LW, but otherwise I wouldn't change a thing. Somewhat autobiographical I suspect? Cheers Steve
you amaze me. on this time around I lowered the vote on the 1st chapter. I had forgotten I had read it before. I lost my way and thought that #3 was another story but picked it up again in #4 what can I say I'm 77. now with it all laid out the whole thing is definitely a 5* all around.

Delightful to read, fun to think about, moving to comprehend. I liked it a lot.
Yes, it could have been done in one or two chapters, but the separation worked well.
They are the luckiest people i know-they had each other. Great story, loved it.
The writer must be sleeping on his laurels. (this is by far one of the worst of this writer)
This is what the majority of us want to read and aspire to - positive, loving relationships rather than the negative cheating, cuckolding rubbish that most of the writers foist upon us.
You remain amongst the best writers on this site
A competently written love story spanning the years.
What an enjoyable read. This was well written as are all of your stories.
How refreshing to read a love story about two people in love from beginning till later in life. Well written and the story flowed well. It certainly continues my pleasant mood for the rest of the day. 5*
to read a positive story from end to end. Don't know what model of Challenger Pam has, but where ever she is going, she's going to make it at near the speed of light. Just for the record, the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is the fastest production car in the world with a 0-60 mph time of 2.3 seconds shen loaded with the right options. Very good story, thank you. Signed: BTW
What a joy to find this story. Just a beautiful story about a loving couple and a good life.
I literally went over to my wife and lifter her off her feet kissing her. Yeah i am an old softie but so what. This was amazing
Nice love story. The only thing that bothered me was the slipping from third person to first, and back.
Read most of your other stories, this wasn't bad for one of your first and each chapter improved over the last. enjoyable
I assume it is in this category instead of romance b/c it was an early work and you didn’t realize it was an infidelity category.
It is a good early work, and I can see how much you have improved since.
A very sweet 5. Kept waiting for the other shoe to drop (Pam cheating, or getting sick and dying), and love that it never happened. As commentator Wildbill314 so nicely put it, "Loving Wives can actually mean loving wives"
But it turned out great. Avery wonderful love story. I can't ask for any more, cause I love "HAPPILY-EVER-AFTER"
doesn't everyone?
Lovely story, oops! There go my man points! I did have a smile on my face for the last chapter with all the surprises and love he showered on his wife. Ver good writing.
Nice to have a true loving wife (and husband) story in this category (probably there are a lot more but I don't often spot them)! The only gripe I have is it could've been published in one go rather than four chapters but it really is a very minor one! As per normal a well written story from qhml1 and very enjoyable! 5*

Everyone knows alcohol alters one's judgement/discernment; i.e., turn a 3 into an 8. The old guys from the retirement home may develop the same handicap sober. Years ago a friend suggested a simpler system on a 5 point scale, to wit:
1. Wouldn't fuck her.
2. Would fuck her.
3. Would eat her, then fuck her.
4. Would fuck her, then eat her.
5. Would let buddy fuck her, then eat her.
I loved it, and the entire series. It's a nice change to actually read about a Loving Wife story in the "Loving Wives" forum. Some of us older readers appreciate it. My wife and I have been married 42 years now, soon to be 43 next month, so I know how it goes. And yes, she's my first wife.
Great story wrap... could encourage me to check out a Norway destination. Loved it!!
A bit shorter than some of your other epistles, but good nonetheless..
10 outa 5. On to the next….
THANK YOU!!!!!! It isn't often that a story will move me to misty eyes smiles. But this one surely did. Being an old cogger, "Wait! do they still use that term?" of my early 70's I remember terms like that. And since I am married to the most wonderful woman, I guess I can understand the meanings in the story better than others. It was a joy to read and brought back a lot of memories. You are a very talented person. Again. Thank you for a very lovely and touching story.
I just absolutely adore the idea of a bunch of oldies doing a hot list of women. It's wonderful and hilarious 😂 lovely story as well. BardnotBard
