I loved the story so far and cannot wait for the continuation!

What attracted me the msot is that this feels "real" and not so over the top as some other stories sometimes are

I love the storyline and am rather anxious to see how it plays out. Will it go smoothly or will there be some "difficulties"? Only the writer knows. To me this is the key to a great series. The "subject matter" is wonderful bonus. Keep it up.

Fantastic first chapter! Finding that the rest hasn’t been written yet is like ending a season of a favorite TV show on a cliffhanger. Can’t wait to see what happens next, and following this author even longer.

You only describe Lydia's hair length, hair style, hair color, and eye color. She's effectively a floating pair of eyes with floating hair. The result of the lack of description you give Lydia is that she doesn't feel like a person to me. She feels more like a character model purchased off the Unity asset store and plugged in to service the story. I can't actually get invested in her when reading it, since it feels like the author didn't consider describing her appearance worth the effort...
