All Comments on 'The Kissing Bargain'

Describing a non-gay male as "moaning", "whimpering" and "trembling" to some woman's touches (demon or not) does not do it for me. We groan, we growl, we grunt, we strain, we even shake or convulse, but the previous descriptors sound like classic female character reactions.

It would be really nice to see Alrek get an equivalent of what is the catgirl to Larya

Succubi tend to get all the attention in erotica, so it's nice to see imps get some love as well.

As it happens, I think many people are more comfortable with men whimpering and moaning, and I think our culture could stand to get more comfortable overall with men being vulnerable in those kinds of ways. Suggesting that only gay men can have what you see as "feminine" responses to extreme situations also feels a little homophobic! But there's nothing wrong with just not being into those kinds of depictions of men. Different strokes for, well, you know. :)

The idea of Alrek getting a "romantic foil" like Lim is actually really fun, and I'm gonna keep it in mind! Thank you!

And finally, YES. I love playing around with different kinds of demons. Imps are fun because you're supposed to underestimate them, and they love it when you do. :D

Really enjoy the imp tricking him into getting naked. Was really hoping she would continue teasing him into submission. Greatly enjoyed the story, just wish it was drawn out longer with Alrek continuing to try to resist and very slowly succumbing.

1. Lim has featured fairly prominently in Wicked Amusement, which is also the story where Larya and Alrek met her.

2. Yes!

3. An imp can be pressured into releasing stolen secrets, and Sindra is in no position or condition to resist the kind of pressure Lim can bring.

Regarding the order: Any order can work! I give a timeline on my Patreon, but basically, the chronological order is like this:

Shifty Characters - Wicked Amusement - Kissing Bargain - Sea Slimes - Unliving Lust - Evergreen Forest

Feel free to read them in whatever order you like, though. It's flexible!

It was good overall but personally I felt it a bit lacking both in creating a consistent hynotic mood and erotic components but represented more of friendly yet dangerous tussle with neither gaining an edge 😅
