good story about a marriage where both people give up and don't talk to each other about their feelings anymore. then someone comes along who listens.

So far, this has a very real feel to it. It did move a little too swiftly in how fast their feelings and comfort progressed. However, the basic emotions of what is happening to Mike ring very true.

I also appreciated the length of your submission, it was long enough to build appropriately and involve the reader. I look forward to future submissions and wish you luck with this work.

True it did move a little fast but nothing wrong with that. Clearly the marriage was in trouble and the comment about how his wife has lunch with other guys and does what ever she wants and basicly doesnt' want to be with him unless he is brining in more money then usually has me to wonder if she isn't already stepping out on the marriage and really is just with him for the money. That's how it comes off it seems.

Would like to see where things with him and Christie go. She seems like a good match for him I'd say.
