Click here"I wonder if ...no, I can't believe that." Kari thought as she considered if Kari's afternoon was anything like hers. "Not Kari."
The sound of water in her ears blocked that of the shower curtain as it opened just a bit. Dawn almost jumped when she suddenly felt a soft pair of hands on her back. Dropping the bar of soap she'd held, she whirled around.
"Careful." Kari laughed. "Don't you know that most household accidents happen in the tub."
"Kari, what are you...?"
"I thought you might need someone to help you wash your back." the blonde smiled. "And I just happened to be available."
A look of confusion, mixed with panic filled Dawn's face. Was she imagining this?
"And I'm also available for washing fronts as well." Kari quipped.
When Dawn failed to even laugh at her joke, that look of panic appeared on Kari's face as well. Had she guessed wrong?
"Looks like I was wrong." Kari said apologetically. "Guess I should be trying to say it was all a joke, but I really don't want to. I'll go and we'll make believe this never happened." Kari started to turn, then felt Dawn's hand on her arm. "Stay." she said with a smile.
The smile was quickly reflected on Kari's face as she turned back to her friend. They looked at each other for what seemed like forever, neither saying a word. It was like both knew what had happened to the other without being told. Later on there would be plenty of time to talk about it. Right now all they were interested in was the soft press of their lips against each other as they embraced.
END
When I read the tagline of the story, I wrote down several predictions. Sad to say, they all came true. The story was so easily anticipated it became boring. It was like the author had a checklist of lesbian tropes to check off. No mystery, no intrigue. Predictable and prosaic. 😴
Great story, for both me and my wife. We've been on 15 cruises, but none like this one. Oh, people don't just run onto a cruise ship, at the last minute. Just saying. I do have to admit, this really got my very straight wife of nearly 53 years 'going' if you get my drift. 5*
"In fact, try as she could, the blonde couldn't catch the dark haired woman sneaking any looks at her breasts. In a similar encounter, she doubted that a guy sitting across from her could've been so circumspect."
This is not true. The idea that Lesbians don't leer is a myth. Lesbians are attracted to the female body. Of course they stare. Not to mention that Peggy and Kari get it on. Sure someone will say that their connection was at a higher spiritual/mental level. If that is the case why was the sex a carnal act? Why not gaze into each others eyes and have spiritual/mental sex?
One of the comments thought the story ended abruptly, well, it would depend on how intriguing the story was to the individual. This is where your own imagination kicks in to carry it further or finish it on your own term.
Fantastic story, I just don't know how a story like this can be written with such detail unless blessed with prior knowledge or a very mind blowing imagination.
