A pleasant surprise

I'm normally not big on fan fiction, but I read this based on a friend's recommendation and was glad I did. Despite never having seen the show it was based on; the story was so well written that I didn't have to. A great look at another time and place. Will definitely be taking a look at the author's other stories as well.
