He stopped and looked at her as he realized that they hadn't yet gotten to why she was so upset. "Hannah, I am so thankful and flattered for what you've already told me, but nothing you've said so far explains why you'd be crying now."
It was Hannah's turn to look away sheepishly. "It was Lanie. When you came back in holding Lanie in your arms, I saw the look on her face. Even though she was upset, I could see how comfortable she was in your arms. I couldn't help but think to myself, 'he already has this hot girl on his arm, and now he could have Lanie, how am I going to compete with that?' We'd been talking about you at dinner. I told them about our little flirting thing about your 18th birthday, and Lanie told us about you and the flowers when you picked Jess up, and we were all wanting to find someone like you. But after I saw the look on Lanie's face ,and the look on your face while you took charge, even the way Ava looked at you...I guess I just thought maybe I'd lost my chance."
Jeremy decided to press his luck and moved up the bed to take Hannah's hand, which he brought to his lips. Then he slowly reached up, smoothed her hair away from her face, and slid his fingers across her cheek to take a gentle grip on her neck with his thumb caressing her cheek. Looking in her eyes, he softly said, "Sweetheart, you haven't lost anything. I can't believe that a woman as beautiful as you wants anything to do with me. But if you come back from school and want to spend time with me, just name the time and place. It would truly be my honor." With that, he pulled her head to his and delivered a kiss that he hoped conveyed all the emotions he felt for her right then, which she seemed to enthusiastically return.
When their lips parted, he grabbed her with both arms and hugged her tight. "Are we good?" He felt her nod against his chest. Sitting back, he grinned and said, "I'm willing to serve as a pillow again tonight if you know any pretty girls who might be interested in sleeping with me. Any ideas?"
With the twinkle in her eye renewed, she grinned conspiratorially. "I know a couple of girls who would love to sleep with you, but you're all mine tonight. All you have to do is give me another massage and then be your old comfy self."
As they headed towards the living room to join AJ, Jeremy thought that even if he hadn't already been looking forward to turning 18, May 17th couldn't arrive soon enough. 57 days...

Also if you want to see complexity and I mean useless and needless complexity there is a writer here that has an absolute desire to ONLY write stories about mind control and genies and the like. Sounds ok right? Hellhiem no and I mean fucking NO. This guy has way over the top femnazi type views on those subjects.
So this guy tries to write a story about a mind controlling Alien all 12 chapters and every second line is discussing consent and getting consent. Little does he realise that if you have consent then it’s not control and intact this mind controlling alien isn’t controlling anything. So it’s a persuasive speaking and debating champion alien. And then it’s a non story, nothing to see here. AND ITS SO FUCKING PAINFULL, the story just grinds to a halt every 2 sentences for a 2 page and I kid you not 2 page consent contract rambling verbal fuck up.
Oh and the genie story. Fuck me. So this guy is all types of fucked up and he gets a genie and then 3 more. So one bottle is opened and then it starts. Fucking consent crap and slavery shit just like I personally owned 100 slaves and like there is any African American alive that was an actual slave. Fuck me, he’s all about what the genie wants and whatever she wants to do and be all she can be and do all she can do. Well right up until the genie straight up says “I like calling you master, it makes me feel good and I want to call you master.” Well that’s a hard NO! So what was the last 4 yes fucking 4 pages of every guys a rapist and every white male but not female is a slave owner.
So the final decision the guy makes is... keep one genie out that he already has but making a wish is exactly like rape and prostitution as he is using her and keep the other three bottles unopened. Now one of those he can’t open and the other 2 he chooses to shelve them. Oh and by his rules the 3 genies are on a shelf unavailable to other worthy masters and they know they are in a bottle locked up. So because this cunt won’t share genies and his femnazi views won’t let him use them he and he alone decides to keep them locked up for eternity in a blue bottle since he now lives for ever.
Try that complex shit. It’s so bad I just gave up and stabbed myself in the face a few time to try and get over the fucking shit.
