By the time that the next song, one called 'Prime Mover', came on, Mia began to wonder if the gods were playing a joke on her, especially when Theo sang the line 'I can see through your skirt' with a flicker of his eyes towards her bare thighs. That almost set her cheeks off again, and her thoughts spinning, and so with a deep breath she quickly turned to stare forward so that she wouldn't have to see her boyfriend's friend. What was wrong with her!? She had never acted like this before! Of course, she had never heard of any guy making a woman feel and act as Theo could, but still! She had to clear her mind and get a hold of herself! Mia thought to herself as she tried to breathe calmly. Trying to not think about something was apparently the worst way to forget it, she thought, and so after a few breaths Mia finally decided to just ignore everyone except Ethan for a while, hopefully that should clear her mind.

After a few minutes that seemed to do the trick, for both her mind and Theo's attention, as when she looked in the mirror as the line 'your lipstick flickers around my lightning rod' was sung Theo's attention was all on Marie again, and by the time they had crossed the wide River and were driving towards central Downtown Mia had forgotten all about the image and what Theo had said.

Unfortunately, of course, that didn't last long.

"Aerosmith!" Marie almost shouted in excitement as a slightly less insinuating tune began "Oh I love Aerosmith!"

Mia turned to look back with Ethan to grin at their friend as she almost bounced up and down in her seat.

"Then you'll like this." Theo replied as he unzipped his hoodie to show his t-shirt beneath while grinning widely at Marie

"Oh! Where did you get that!?" The shorter woman exclaimed jealously in a voice so high she almost screamed as she grabbed hold of Theo's t-shirt to get a better look. "I so want this!"

Almost laughing at her friend's reaction, Mia twisted around to get a better look at Theo's brown shirt.

"Big Ten Inch..." She began to say as she read what the t-shirt said around the Aerosmith logo, before trailing off as the words, aided by Theo's smugly smiling handsome face, brought everything flooding very vividly back into her mind.

"...Record." Ethan's friend finished what she had been about to read aloud, his smile only growing more insinuating as he looked between the two women, this time not picking up on why Mia was suddenly lost for words.

Still, the wink that he gave them both almost made the dark-haired girlfriend's cheeks brighten again. That was probably why Mia spoke without thinking as she attempted to seem as calm and normal as possible; both to herself and everyone else.

"A little presumptuous, don't you think Theo. Trying to compensate are you?" She jibed without thought, a small smile teasing her soft lips as Ethan and Johnnie laughed with her. Of course then she realized that she had just almost held up a sign as to what she had been thinking and suddenly the colour in her cheeks wasn't all from the images she was trying to keep out of her mind.

"Not by much..." Mia barely heard Marie mutter to herself just before Theo replied. Her words flashed an image into Mia's mind that wiped any embarrassment away and turned the pale pink of her cheeks almost crimson.

"There's only one way to find that out..." Ethan's friend teased with open amusement that only broadened as Johnnie shook his head at him. Heart fluttering, Mia almost looked to Ethan at those blatantly implying words, wondering what her boyfriend thought of his friend's offer for his girlfriend to see his big ten inch...no, no, that was just a song, there was no way Theo was that big...was there? However before she could turn her head, her boyfriend's friend continued as if he had not meant to pause, "...I'm sure Naomi will tell you."

Both Johnnie and Ethan clearly took their friend's words as what they seemed to be -- a male boast -- however Mia, and Marie from what the dark-haired girlfriend noticed, easily saw the flirty-insinuation. It was easy to see when you expected it, and both of them had had more than their fair share of Theo's attentions over time.

Marie only laughed gently, while Ethan and Johnnie tried to turn their friend's words into a joke on him. That last was a bit of a relief for Mia; she was glad that Ethan hadn't noticed -- the last thing she wanted was the trip ruined by jealousy. Not that that was likely though, Theo rarely pushed too far in front of others and what he did do or say was usually taken by the guys as just Theo being one of those flirty kind of people. As for her, though, Mia once more felt a little lost for words as her mind uncontrollably raced again at the blatant offer to prove to her what Marie had claimed about his 'size'. Surely no guy would be that confident if he wasn't as big as everyone had claimed? Ten inches was impossible though, surely...Was that why Naomi had enjoyed sex with him so much...and acted...and screamed...like she had...?

Stopping her racing thoughts before they got out of hand and ignoring the curiosity and the slightly faster beating of her heart that went along with them, Mia forced herself to think straight enough to speak.

"Yeah..." She began and then paused, unsure of how to continue as her mind struggled to finish her wondering despite herself. Fortunately her playful side kicked in as she stared at Theo's grinning face. "...I'm sure she'd tell us the real truth now and not what you wanted to hear when you two were together." She finished with a smirk that said more than if she had made the jibe straight out.

That caused another gale of laughter from the guys, including Theo himself, and a deeper smile from Marie that seemed to colour her cheeks. This time it was Mia's turn to gloat as she leaned over to kiss Ethan as he congratulated her on a well-made strike before smiling triumphantly at Theo.

"Nice, nice." The tall, attractive friend of her boyfriend granted as he leaned back in his seat and glanced confidently between the two women again "She can say what she wants, but I'm sure the 'next woman' to see will agree." He finished, his eyes quickly flicking between the two of them as he smirked as if to see if either of them would take him up on the offer.

Before anyone could reply, however, Migs suddenly chimed up in the back and any embarrassing thought about her boyfriend's friend vanished from Mia's mind.

"Alright, City Hall! I've always wanted to see this place." The short Latino guy almost shouted emphatically as he nearly pressed his face against the window to stare at the huge, ornate building that looked like something from a gothic fairy tale. The place was like no building that Mia had seen before, almost a modern corporate building mixed with a cathedral.

"City Hall?" Marie asked suddenly shooting up as if someone had poked her in the side. "Oh shit, that means we're almost there. Wait, what time is it?"

"Almost..." Ethan began before stopping to clear his throat with a cough, then smiling at Mia, finished, "...Almost twelve."

Marie frowned as she rummaged through her pocket. Finally she pulled a piece of paper out and read it hurriedly.

"Oh no, I thought so." The shorter woman said a little irritably, "We can't check in to the hotel until two. We'll need to find something to do until then."

"That's alright..." Ethan replied calmly, though he did give Mia a significant look that seemed to say that their pre-concert fun was probably not going to happen, "...We can grab a coffee and have a look at the stores while we wait."

That instantly perked Mia and Marie's ears, and Ethan almost burst out laughing as the two women began to talk about what they would buy -- ignoring the three guys comments about 'women' and 'shopping'. Before the other guys could complain too much, though, Ethan was pulling the car beneath the tall, fancy-looking white-stone hotel to park, and before long the six of them were walking around the block to the wide store-lined streets of Shorehaven's immense commercial Downtown.

Great towering buildings of glass, stone, brick, and concrete filled broad streets lined with trees and humming either with traffic or thousands of people, each focused on what they were doing or where they were going. All kinds of styles and shapes of building and people filled the streets after streets of stores and malls of all kinds. Flashing neon lights, music, billboards, performers, and the almost deafening buzz of so many people filled everywhere with a life that only the Strip could out-do.

Despite the light rain that had now settled into a gentle shower the pedestrianized street that the group finally found themselves on that ran a good couple of miles was still buzzing with people, shopping, talking or huddling from the weather as they weaved their way through the steady downpour. Mia threw up her hood and zipped her hoodie a little more as they began to walk and wished that they too would hurry a little more; this type of rain could quickly soak through your clothes if you stayed out in it long enough, and her top beneath was low-cut enough that she would be drenched in no time if they stayed outside too long.

That was something Mia commented on at the same time that Marie brought it up too, and so before anyone could ask the obvious 'where to' question, the dark-haired girlfriend quickly grabbed Marie's hand and dragged her towards one of her favourite alternative clothing shops. That, of course, meant that the guys were left with the choice of either following them inside or standing out in the rain. It wasn't long before the constant shower made that decision simple for the four of them.

"Ugh, I can't believe the weather." Marie muttered as she tossed back her hood and strode around one of the clothing racks.

"I know." Mia replied as she lowered her own hood and unzipped her top to stop the lightly damp material from laying cool against the exposed skin of her cleavage. "I hope it lets up by tonight, or the wait outside is going to be horrible."

Marie nodded as she peered through the racks to see if there was anything she liked. Mia did the same but only really for something to do. She didn't really want to buy anything, she wanted to save her money for the merchandise later instead. And so quickly the dark-haired girlfriend moved on to another rack, glancing up to smile at her boyfriend as he stood talking to the guy behind the counter about some watch the man was showing him. Johnnie stood beside him, equally engrossed, while Migs and Theo were looking in some glass cabinet filled with statuettes and lighters, though Migs was casting glances over at Ethan and Johnnie as if he too was interested in what the guy was showing them.

Seeing the guys brought a question to Mia's soft lips as she frowned over at Theo.

"What do you think of Naomi and Theo splitting up?" She asked as Marie came to look at the rack she was standing by "Does it seem like there's something more that he's not telling us?"

Glancing over at the tall, toned, rock star-like friend of theirs, Marie laughed softly before looking through the clothes in front of her.

"I think it's like what he said." Mia's friend answered as she pulled out a dress then shook her head and stuffed it back on the rack "Theo's never been one to be in a relationship for long. All he wants is sex and fun, but he's always upfront about it. Some girls just think they can change him rather than just accept him for who and what he is."

Mia nodded thoughtfully, although she did have a hard time picturing Naomi as the kind of girl that wanted something incredibly serious. But then, she had been the one to start the relationship after she and Theo had been 'friends-with-benefits' for a while, so she could have. Shrugging the thought off, Mia tried to focus on the clothes Marie was looking through.

"It's a shame though, Naomi was fun and they were good together. I'm going to miss her tonight." She replied as she noticed a top that caught her interest.

"Yeah." Marie nodded, before that small, shyly-secretive, yet playful, smile spread her lips cutely again and her eyes sparkled mischievously. "Though I guarantee he'll have another girl in his room by the end of the night."

Mia would have agreed to that, she knew Theo after all, however her friend's expression had caught her attention instead. Marie had been smiling in a strange way ever since Johnnie had mentioned Theo earlier, and acting even stranger since the latter had gotten into the car. Mia couldn't help but wonder why. As she opened her mouth to ask about it though Johnnie suddenly called Marie, and when the two looked up he was waving her over. Before Mia could speak, Marie gave her a friendly smile and a wink, unaware of the question that Mia had been about to ask, before she walked happily over to her boyfriend, leaving Mia to stand and think for herself about her friend's odd behaviour. Nothing that she thought of made sense though, and so instead Mia put it out of her mind to ask later and went back to looking at the rather nice top she had seen.

She had only just lifted the top from the rack to look at it when suddenly someone spoke beside her.

"I prefer the one you're wearing. It shows your sexy figure off so much better." Theo said in a tone that matched the charming smile that Mia saw on his face when she turned to look up at him.

...Of course, his words then made her instinctively glance down.

As she looked down at the almost-lingerie-like top that she was wearing -- the same top that her boyfriend had gone wild over as well a little earlier -- the corset-like top that snugly clung to her slender waist and firm, round breasts and showed a luscious amount of her pale white cleavage -- Mia couldn't help but smile a small flattered smile before she realized what she was doing. That was the problem with Theo, a compliment from a guy that looked like him, said in that charming way of his, with that rich almost sensuous voice, no matter how explicit or insinuating, was still flattering, even when he was just perving over her half-exposed cleavage.

Still, Mia knew better than to let Ethan's friend see any effect of his words on her -- once he thought he had gotten through a woman's defences he was insatiable in his pursuit. And so she quickly hid her small smile behind a neutral roll of her eyes, before placing the top back on the rack.

"Ethan..." She replied, emphasizing her boyfriend's name as she reached for the zip of her hoodie, "...thinks so. But he's allowed to look."

Her friendly, yet admonishing, reply only made Theo grin however as he let his eyes linger on how her hoodie gaped around her exposed breasts and teasing cleavage as she fixed the two parts of the zip together.

"He can't own the sight of you." Her boyfriend's friend said wittily, resting one arm on the top of the clothing rack as he finally raised his eyes to hers. That mischievous, playful smile of his made his already attractive face seem even more stunning. "And you are too amazing to keep hidden. Especially beneath a hoodie. Or other things."

This time Mia felt a brief flutter in her stomach as she suddenly remembered what he had said about her being naked around him in the car. Thankfully this time Mia managed to keep her mind from conjuring up any images to make her cheeks burn!

"Don't you ever say anything different?" She asked as disinterestedly as she could as she pulled the zip up.

Theo's eyes followed her hand up over her flat stomach and curvaceous, full 36D breasts with a faint glint of disappointment. That oddly made Mia almost smile in amusement -- guys really were simple and predictable. Only when his eyes rose to hers did he reply.

"That depends on what we're doing." He answered with that small smile, and this time Mia rolled her eyes for real.

"Very original." She jibed in an almost-laugh as she turned to look through the rack behind her, and ignoring the sudden flash in her thoughts that tried to connect what Ethan's friend had just said with her curiosity. What had he been implying they would do exactly...and what could he have meant...no!

"Well you know me, whatever works." Theo replied in an almost self-deprecating jest that did make Mia laugh this time. He was a permanent horn-dog, Theo, but he was still fun. "Seriously though, that top really does suit you. Well, actually it makes you look stunning. You should totally wear it tonight."

Glancing sideways without replying Mia couldn't help but feel a little flattered again at the honest compliment from a guy who had women literally throwing themselves at his feet. Still, she hid the small pleased smile that she felt curving her soft lips and frowned at a top that she didn't really like instead, as if she were thinking of buying it.

"I've already got my outfit for tonight, I only wore this one because Ethan likes it." She said almost absently, once again emphasizing her boyfriend's name. And like every time that she did, Theo paid the reminder that she was his friend's girlfriend no mind at all. "Besides, why are you interested in what I'm wearing, I thought you'd be looking for other girls tonight, now you're single and all?"

Instantly Mia wondered why she had said that. She had meant it as a diversion from talking about her, yet from the sudden deepening of her boyfriend's friend's smile the dark-haired girlfriend wondered whether he had taken her words as somehow implying that she was a little jealous.

At first Theo only smiled at her and didn't reply as he fingered the metal rail at the top of the rack, and then he moved closer to her and began to look through the rack himself, his eyes flickering to her so much that he couldn't have seen anything that his hands were moving. Only then did he speak, and Mia knew she had made a mistake.

"Because I've got no doubt that you will be the hottest woman there tonight." He replied rather suavely as he leaned his arms on the rail and gave her a stunning smile.

Despite herself Mia couldn't help but feel more than a little flattered again. Why she should feel like that when she had a boyfriend, who she loved, she had no idea. Just because Theo was good-looking, charming, and was obviously amazing at...well...Mia stopped her mind before it went any further. Again. She had to get a hold of...

"Huh, come on Theo..." She said as she turned to glance at him with an amused, bantering smile "...you say that to every woman you're alone with."

It was only after she finished that Mia realised that how she had phrased that was another mistake. That made her want to slap herself. It was almost like she wanted to flirt back with him! Just because he complimented her! She didn't. But still...

Despite thinking she had made a mistake again, however, it seemed that for once the gods were on her side, as instead of dismissing what she had said so that he could hit on her, Theo's face suddenly became so innocently defensive and over-offended that even he finally broke out in a laugh at Mia's amusedly-doubtful expression.

"Ok, ok, maybe I do." He conceded humorously, as he began searching through the rack again, before adding in a more honest tone, "Though with you I actually mean it."

"Sure you do." Mia replied noncommittally as she turned back to the clothes; again wanting to slap herself for how that could be taken. What the hell was wrong with her? Just because she was curious didn't mean she couldn't get a hold of herself, even if her own horniness at Ethan and excitement at the show were making her feel playful. This was Theo. She had to start thinking before she spoke and stop getting all flustered because some hot guy with a big...her cheeks almost blushed bright red again. Fortunately her boyfriend's friend spoke before her mind flashed a mental picture before her eyes again.
