This is so f-ing deep! I was in the present with her and it assaulted my sensibilities to find out in the end she was reminiscing. To have lived and loved for so longer and to have it brutally taken away is hard to fathom even in a fictitious story cause there is truth and realness there. DocSavage, I loved how you ended the story the way you began it - brilliant
