Loved

Totally loved your story. She still thinks of him on Valentine's day. Could that lead to another get together in their future? We can only hope so. Five Stars!

Great story!

Loved the story! I would love to see a follow-up piece, especially with how it ended. Maybe turn the tables, this time it's his girlfriend who ditches him on Valentine's day. It doesn't need to be a whole series, but I would love to see the relationship between Seb and Tess fleshed out, especially the interaction between them that led up to this story.

Sequel please?

You said this was a stand-alone, but I enjoyed it so much, I hope you get around to writing a second chapter.

Love puppies. And Koalas.

Really enjoyed that. Thank you.

Played with my expectations

I was expecting a story about them falling completely in love, yadda yadda. And it was well done - nice dialogue and believable characters. But that tonal shift of an ending was a great surprise. This story came across as very honest, and is one of my favorites.

More please

Don't normally ever make a comment but I really loved this story. It would be interesting to see what would happen if they ran into each 10 years done the line.

Nice

A sweet, slowly developing story. I really liked it.

(Although koalas look nicer than they actually are. They have a tendency to pee on you, and gumleaf-scented urine is not pleasant.)

PS; a koala is no more a bear than a puppy is a cat.

PPS; AnnasFriend, your biographical notes are sadly uninformative. I find it interesting to know a little more about those authors I consider to be very good writers, and you are one of the better ones.

a sequel could work

This story is nicely wrapped up, which can be hard to do once you start writing multi-part works, so it may be best just to leave well enough alone. Still, the question mark in the valentine's day card leaves the door open for a follow up. I'll certainly be watching for one :-)

Could use more.

It is wrapped up, mostly. We just feel they could have had something between them, especially after the Valentine's card. If they ever come back into your thoughts, please tell us a little more.

Thank you for the great story,

Tanhors and family.

Well balanced story

It’s a relief to read a story with a clearly defined, and entirely plausible, ending - too many authors fall into the trap of doing another chapter, often at the behest of the ‘more please’ comments

The conclusion was deftly handled - she leaves early the next morning, removing the need for the awkward ‘it was great but...’ conversation that would have followed, yet you left us readers with the feel good ‘will they, won’t they’ catch up in the future to tease and tantalise, which given the nature of their hookup plays well with that theme

More stories please, I’m a huge fan of your writing, but this is one best left alone

It's not a a backhanded compliment, just an indirect one, quite a difference.

Bit of a downer ending, and not satisfying since it teased new plot threads, like what the argument about, and what was up with the card, but offered no possibility of resolution, and didn't resolve existing elements:

Like the part with Seb's sister being a lot more fond of him when talking to to other people, but seeming to dislike him when they interact directly.

There was also something weird when the sister's boyfriend was mentioned that never got resolved either.

Great Story

That was a very good story. I will say I do much prefer when there is a happier ending and they are together in the end.

So...

...which is it: a large bed, or a small bed? ("...a large, comfortable looking small double-bed.")

Koala's

Great story line but, Koala's aren't Bears - they are Marsupials.

I really liked it. Koala bears and all.

It's so refreshing to just have characters in erotica talk about sex. I loved the interaction between characters and the humour. Happy endings are overrated anyway. Just marvelously done. Bravo.

The tension was exquisite

What a sweet story, I have to assume and not because of your pen-name that you are a female, only a woman could write such emotional tales and make them so believable and sensual.Xxx

On the other hand, you could be a gay man, but I just don’t see a hetero man being able to ride like this. Lol

I was hoping they might have started a long-term relationship, but I suppose a one night stand as erotic as this one would lead to a never-to-be-forgotten memory. I thoroughly enjoyed your story.
