Actually hoped Joe would chicken out and realize what he had at home was worth more than some sleazy sex. He even addressed the reasons why sex with his wife had declined. Think the story would have been more powerful (and respectable) if Joe would have learned something, instead he plans to contine having affairs. I feel sorry for Claire for having such an ass for a husband.
