A good story, believable, realistic. Probably would work for many high school/college couples who did not marry, but after several decades, being single meet again to awaken the still warm embers from long ago flame.

Pretty much all of it was plain vanilla...but still enjoyable.

and that is a fact. And she will NOT go to hers for the same reason. She knows her past will be in her face. Too many of her High School friends will be reliving old high school days. I trust this type of tale would bite most of us in the butt... thank you
