This is a great story. I think it lends itself to another chapter.

The story has potential but it rambles on too much. The dialogue also needs a lot of work. It was a good effort.

.. perfect - but not quite!

I enjoyed the build up, story and sex (of course!) but a couple of tiny things. The flash-back scenes IMHO could have been a little better identified; there was at least one where I wasn't 100% sure what era Michael was in! The other seems to be peculiarly American - in the UK we do NOT shake our heads when we mean yes, we nod them. When I see "Shook her head yes" it confuses me for the second or two it takes me to convert. Not exactly life-changing or anything, just a nit-pick.

As a single 70+ male, I can get surprised and gratified in a real romance story. Two people finding themselves and each other beyond the real pain of loosing their life mate. In my opinion, life experiences are not a life sentence but are foundational for growth and brighter experiences. Well written. Very well expressed, and triggered my (almost dormant) enchantment in living the life we are given. Thank you.

A little too convenient and exaggerated for my taste, unfortunately. It's not well written, but I tend to find this kind of story works better if it's more grounded.
