Well, this was it. This was her chance to meet someone who not only had her same condition but managed to get a human to fall in love with her. Nijia might've shivered had she been a human, but as she slithered into the safehouse's lobby, she did her best not to show any fear. She remembered being unafraid the last few times she'd been in high-security areas, slipping through with nary a thought of worry... why was she so twitchy today?

Never mind, she had to get onto the elevator. After coiling into the box and pressing the right button, she let out a tense sigh, trying to center herself but failing miserably. It felt like her innards were tied into a knot, and the ascension didn't help. When she checked her phone, there wasn't a scrap of new intel that would help her; when she habitually drew her plasma pistol and fiddled with the charging handle, it just made her worry she'd be too intimidating. Just relax and breathe, she told herself, everything's going to be just fine... you'll see.

Meanwhile, the twin objects of Nijia's anxiety were busy lounging on the couch, entwined beneath a fleece blanket watching TV shows. Crimson Cove was on once again, and Hssara was trying to explain the plot she only half-understood to Clark. "So Veronica has been fooling around with this guy from her chemicals class, Dave," she began, "But last time we found out that she was hooking up with Chet, which is extra bad because he's a 'senior' and she's a 'sophomore.' What's that mean again?"

"Senior means it's your fourth year in high school," Clark explained, "And sophomore means it's your second year."

"Right."

The human furrowed his brow to ask a question of his own. "Veronica is a vampire, and Chet's a..."

"He's a wolf-dude."

"You mean a werewolf?"

"Yeah, that."

"Uh huh..." Clark briefly disengaged himself from the whimsy of supernatural high school to take a look at the clock, and that in turn led to more thoughts about the supposed meeting at the burger joint. He had no intention of going, of course, and he'd pondered reporting the location to ADVENT, but right now, that was two days away. According to the 4:01 on the clock, their new roommate was bound to show up any second... unless she was somehow late. "You know, that other viper will be here in a bit, maybe we should-"

The doorbell cut him off, and a quick glance over revealed a shadow waiting on the other side of the door. He noticed Hssara grow a tad tense, but his serpentine lover pushed the worry from her mind before Clark could ask. "Guess that's her," she said, already beginning to unwrap herself from around her human heater.

Once they were both up, Clark couldn't help but glance down at himself, at the simple t-shirt and sweats he wore that signaled nothing but apathy. "Maybe we should clean up a bit," he sighed, combing his hair back with one hand.

"Clean up?" As Clark slicked his hair back, Hssara couldn't help but feel a slight spark of something others would recognize as jealousy. Somehow, the concept of Clark prettying himself up for another viper vexed her, and that in turn kindled suspicion. "Why?"

"I dunno, might be worth it to put on a good first impression."

As if to counter his point, the doorbell rang again, and on the other side of the door, Nijia's worries ran rampant. What if they didn't want her around? What if they hated her? What if ADVENT decided she wasn't the right fit for the program and threw her back into guard duty?

She remembered doing it before, but the hours of patrolling about held absolutely no fondness for her, and now that her condition had developed, other vipers hardly held her in high regard. Maybe this other viper would hate her too. Maybe-

At that moment, Hssara opened the door, and she wasn't nearly as surprised as Nijia to see a viper sitting on the other side. As the two looked each other over, Hssara began to notice the stark differences between the two of them: Nijia's scales were a slate grey on her back and a dull white on her belly, with black and white stripes running up her back and around her hood. Where Hssara had yellow eyes, Nijia had blue, and where Hssara had on a simple wooly sweater, Nijia wore the traditional armor of a viper. In that split second, Hssara did her best to size up what her instincts said was a rival. She reminded Hssara of the days when Clark first met, how she'd been tantalizingly clad in a serious getup... and to make matters worse, Nijia seemed like she was acting like a damsel in distress. "Hey there," she eventually offered, "Why don't you come in?" She stood to the side and swung her arm toward the rest of the room in traditional fashion, doing her best not to let her instincts surface.

"Uh, thanks." Nijia hesitantly slithered into the room, and while she'd seen apartments before on missions, she'd never been in one that felt so... lived in. The furniture looked comfy, the kitchen seemed stocked with food, the TV was set to a paused show, and to top it off, a human stood right in the middle of it. Clark didn't look glamorous by any means, standing there with matted hair and casual clothes, but the warm smile he graced Nijia with was enough to make the viper's heart skip a beat.

Clark, meanwhile, was just pleasantly surprised to see another variety of viper, and he did his best to alleviate her nerves with a friendly smile. "Hi there," he said as he offered one hand. "I'm Clark."

The grey viper slowly slithered forward, looked at his hand for a moment, then finally realized she was supposed to shake it. "Yeah..." she murmured, "Uh, I mean, I'm Nijia."

"And I'm Hssara," Clark's lover interjected, almost interposing herself between Nijia and her human.

"Hi..." Nijia shook Hssara's hand as well, but after that, she was a tad lost.

Neither of her hosts seemed to know what to do with her either, but after a few moments, Clark spoke up. "Well, I suppose we should give you the grand tour," he said, "Show you around the place a bit."

"Sure," Nijia replied, still a little awestruck by Clark's friendliness. She dutifully followed him around as he led her around the penthouse, through the kitchen, living room, dining rooms, and bedrooms taking in all the penthouse's niceties with the wide eyes of a country girl. Hssara kept an eye on her the whole time, unwilling to let her share a room with Clark alone for even a second. Clark thought nothing of it, as perhaps she was just trying to be polite, but he couldn't deny there was some sort of tension in his beloved.

When they were done with the grand tour, the trio headed back to the living room, where the TV was frozen on an image of Veronica cussing out Chet. "We were watching Crimson Cove if you wanna join us."

Nijia hadn't the slightest clue what Crimson Cove was, but she realized it wouldn't be polite to refuse. "Yeah... sure." She briefly had a thought of being next to Clark on the couch, leaned up against him like she'd sometimes seen humans do with each other, but that brought on twin feelings of arousal and discomfort. On the one hand, her condition meant she wanted to be near humans, but on the other, all her memories told her were that humans were some inferior race. It felt weird, but as Clark made a move to sit on the couch, she decided it couldn't hurt to try.

However, before she or Clark could sit down, Hssara bolted around to the front of the couch and plopped herself down on the middle cushion, sitting like a human with her whole tail hanging off the couch as if she was waiting for something. When Clark sat down beside her, she instantly made a move to wrap him up and tackle him to the side, and while it was oh-so-nice to be wrapped in her cozy coils once more, Clark couldn't help but sense an ulterior motive. It almost felt like Hssara was trying to keep him away from Nijia, and when the other viper sat down by his feet, Hssara's tense glance seemed a sign of suspicion. The human had half a mind to clear it up right then, but he was ultimately too cozy to do much beyond hitting play.

As the TV show started up again, the characters on-screen continued their on-screen drama, but no one on the couch seemed fully invested. Nijia didn't really understand what was going on, and when she frequently glanced over to the pair beside her, she couldn't help but feel something tugging at both her heartstrings and her guts. Oh, what she'd give to be wrapped up around a human like that... but it was evident that he belonged to Hssara.

Hssara was glancing suspiciously back and forth between Nijia and Clark, giving the former odd looks and the latter affectionate nuzzles. She wanted the other viper to know that Clark was hers, pure and simple, and her draconian glances helped cement that fact in Nijia's mind. "Mine!" her yellow eyes seemed to say, and her coils tightening around Clark's warm body underlined that sentiment.

Clark, meanwhile, was trying to figure out just what was going down between the two vipers, and after a moment of examination, he thought he knew what was going on. He had half a mind to take Hssara aside and ask her what was wrong like a sensible adult, but instead, he tried subtly offering an olive branch to Nijia. "Suppose we should catch you up on what's been happening," he offered, "Basically, this show takes place in a human school full of mythological creatures. There's Veronica, who's a vampire..."

He trailed off as he realized Nijia had no clue what a vampire was, but Hssara quickly chimed in. "It's a pale human-ish monster that drinks blood," she explained, "They've done a ton of movies about them if you wanna see." On the one hand, she felt like shifting away from the incomprehensible high school drama would be fun for Nijia, but on the other, Crimson Cove was her show. She started it, she'd brought Clark into the fold, and she wasn't about to have three make a crowd.

"Oh, it's fine," Nijia replied, "I wouldn't want to, uh... step on your toes." She addressed the remark to Clark as she figured the human was the one who liked watching human shows. She remembered occasionally mocking the "menial drivel" with her fellow vipers way back when, but now she felt almost compelled to watch it.

"No, no, I'm the one who likes this crap anyway," Hssara interjected, "We could use a break from the teen romance." With that, she darted over and grabbed the remote, then popped back into the streaming service to look for vampire flicks. After a few moments, she pulled up something called Brahm Stoker's Dracula, an older movie that nevertheless seemed high-quality. "How about this?" she asked, and before Clark could answer, she hit play.

As the opening credits rolled, Hssara threw their fleece blanket over the three of them, and by the time the movie began recounting Dracula's bloody medieval history, she was cozily snuggled up against her human. While Nijia watched with morbid fascination at the events unfolding, Clark and Hssara were a tad distracted by one another, especially since the viper was almost smothering her lover with affection. By then, it was apparent Hssara was trying to win over the affection she'd never lost, but Clark enjoyed her intimate snuggles enough to stay his tongue.

The trio watched in silence as the movie's events unfolded, and although one of the actors had the range of a plank of wood, it was still well-done enough to hold their attention. Nijia sat somewhat transfixed by the film, marveling at the lavish practical effects and surreal juxtapositions at work. She found herself unsettled by Dracula in particular, the bizarre mish-mash of man, beast, and monster that both her old self and her new condition found repulsive. Even around some of the normal humans, it seemed something wasn't right with them, and she silently thanked fate for not making Clark as deranged as Renfield.

Things remained tame until about the twenty-minute mark, where Mina and Lucy shared some laughs over some explicit illustrations. Clark had noticed Hssara's attention waning for a while, and once the two women began giggling about indecent topics, he felt similar ideas slip into Hssara's mind. Moments later, he felt one scaly hand slowly slipping under his waistband, and before he could do much to stop her, Hssara had his gonads clutched in her palm. Her eyes were on the screen, but her attention focused squarely on his groin, rubbing and kneading her human to a semblance of hardness.

Clark, however, was fixated on Nijia and the possibility she might notice. "Hssara, wait," he whispered, "I-"

"Shhhhh... we wouldn't want to disturb our guest, would we?"

When she turned to meet Clark's gaze, the human could see her longing for connection as clear as day, and after a moment's consideration, he decided to roll with it. "Just... keep it quiet," he sighed, right before gently pulling down his pants and undies a few inches. With his burgeoning erection free under the covers, Hssara's hand swiftly got to work stroking his length, gently kneading it with her palm as her eyes remained fixed on the screen. Clark, meanwhile, just relaxed back as his arousal took hold, hoping that she had a plan to finish him off discreetly.

On the other side of the couch, Nijia was still watching the macabre tale intently, but her sensitive ears began to hear something over the voices and sound effects. It was a heartbeat hammering faster and faster, and as she focused in, she realized it was Clark's. At first, she chalked it up to fear or excitement, but the more her attention drifted, the more she heard: the shifting of the blanket, the friction of scales against human skin, the soft gasps leaving Clark's lips.

For several minutes, she could not figure out for the life of her what was going on, but once she stole a glance over at the two of them, she instantly saw through their ruse. Hssara was teasing Clark under the covers, using her hand to rub his... thing, all while they were still supposed to be watching the movie. Her very first gut reaction was arousal, but that was swiftly followed by shame and disgust, which were in turn surpassed by longing. What she wouldn't give to be in Hssara's place to have a human trust her that much, to be so intimate she could explore all over his nethers... what did they look like? She'd seen the diagrams, but what did Clark's look like? The arousing thoughts dripped with black, oozing taboo in her mind, but that somehow made her want them even more. Goddess, what she wouldn't give to have someone to love...

At the same time, Hssara pondered how much she should share, every so often glancing over at Nijia. On the one hand, she wanted Clark to herself, but on the other, she could see how hot and bothered her cohort was getting, and Hssara remembered how freeing it had been to finally act on those forbidden urges. Maybe if she took the lead, showed Nijia the ropes, let her explore Clark with her guidance... but then again, what if he fell in love with Nijia instead? What if he liked her beautiful silvery scales and piercing blue eyes more? What if he only shacked up with her because there was no better choice?

As fleeting as these paranoid thoughts were, they still made Hssara's grip tighten, forcing a stifled gasp from Clark's lips. She'd been teasing him for almost twenty minutes now, and she could tell he was getting close to the finale. Should she just let him cum in the blanket, or should she risk ducking down for a quick suck? This decisive question flitted around for a bit as she continued jerking Clark off, but when she glanced over at Nijia, something wondrous happened. Hssara's eyes met hers, and in that moment of thunderbolt clarity, the vipers realized precisely what the other was thinking. Hssara knew without a doubt that Nijia knew what she was doing to Clark, but she wasn't worried, oh no. The other viper looked positively shocked, and Hssara knew just how to press her advantage: after fixing Nijia with a sly smile, she slowly slipped all the way under the fleece blanket, eager to relieve her human's pent up pressure.

Clark immediately worried that Hssara would alert their guest by sucking him off, but ultimately he decided not to draw any more attention to himself by pushing her back. With his gaze fixed on the screen, he felt the familiar sensation of the scaly viper taking a hold on his member, first with her hand, then with her warm, slimy tongue. She used the prehensile thing to guide it between her soft lips, and as they sealed around the tip, Hssara sensually slid down until her nose was pressed up against his pubes. That alone was almost enough to make Clark cum, but he managed to hold on, at least until his lover's maw began sucking on his meat's entire length. "Hahh..."

His fingers got a death grip on the couch's armrest as his climax throbbed nearer, and he was all too enraptured to notice Nijia staring wide-eyed at them both. She could hear every little suckle from under the blanket, and she could see Clark's face twisting in pleasure, making her wish wonder with every ounce of her mind what it would be like to service a human like that. To put her mouth on his smelly, hairy genitals repulsed some part of her, but at the same time, it was so damn hot. She could almost feel a strange warmth blossoming in her chest, a warmth that slowly migrated down to her groin, and before long, she felt a strange sense of longing to touch herself down there. But no, she couldn't just start masturbating on the couch; that would be obscene...

Right at that moment, Hssara's gentle bobbing finally pushed Clark past his limit, and the human stifled a moan as his nethers throbbed. Hssara happily sucked and gulped the semen that pumped into her mouth, the act of which drove Clark up the wall until he had to bite down on one finger. Through it all, the human silently prayed that Nijia wouldn't notice, not realizing the viper's intent staring at his groin. When Hssara finally drained him dry, he took a few panting breaths before relaxing onto the couch, comforted by Hssara joining him at his side. In his mind, there was a good chance that Nijia didn't see, and they'd manage to preserve some semblance of decency.

Hssara, on the other hand, couldn't help but offer Nijia a teasing wink as she licked a bit of jizz off her lips. The other viper looked almost shell-shocked, and Hssara figured she'd done an excellent job of instituting her dominance. Proud of her work, she cozied back up to Clark, wrapping her arms around his warm, familiar form.

By the goddess... did that really just happen? Nijia could feel her heart racing in her chest, and her loins... her slit looked as engorged as when she'd watched an hour of human pornography. Her shame compelled her to cover it up with her hands, but the contact made her nerves beg to be touched, and she practically drooled at the thought of how good having something inside her might be... but she couldn't just start masturbating in front of her hosts, could she? No, no, perish the thought, she felt filthy just thinking about it... she needed to go masturbate somewhere else. "Pardon me," she suddenly murmured, slithering off the couch while still covering her shame with her hands. As she beelined for the bathroom, she could feel Clark and Hssara's eyes on her, watching as if they could see her sins branded on her scales.

Clark, however, had no such knowledge. He simply paused the movie, assuming Nijia was using the restroom or some such, but after watching Hssara's smug grin for a moment, he realized something was up. "What's going on?" he asked, sitting up just a bit to look Hssara in the eye.

While she had half a mind to tell a little white lie, Hssara decided Clark ought to know the truth. "Well, she might've heard me doing... you know."

"What? You mean..." Clark briefly glanced toward the bathroom Nijia was cooped up in, then back to Hssara. "She saw?"
