Please don’t listen to complaints about your chapter length. That leads to pushing, burnout, and an unfinished story.
Instead take it in the vein that people enjoy your story enough that they are always greedy for more. I know that I would happily read 10 chapters a day if they were available, but we all know that is unrealistic.
Just focus on continuing the quality work that you have started and do what you can manage. As long as you do that your readers will be there.
5000 words a week is 1000 words per day and two days for editing, every week, not too shabby. People like me, cut out the editing to save time :).
The pace at which you are writing this leaves me a bit ashamed. It takes me double this time or more!
Great story. I'm enjoying reading it. Many of these kind of stories are written well but never get finished. You get 75% through it and that's it. And it's been silent for years. So you have to give up on the story.
I thought this chapter was occurring while Greg was collecting magic points from the Healer. I guess not.
