Hi readers, this comment was sent to me via Anonymous feedback and I just loved it so much I wanted to share it in the public forum. I'm giving my five starts to all you waiting at home for your man/woman to return from duty.

"Five stars to you! However did you know? You've perfectly expressed the unique pain and loneliness of a military wife who's husband is on a remote, temporary, or ship assignment. Although it's been decades since I was in her shoes, reading your story immediately brought back memories, sharp as razors. If only my husband then could have been as clever and resourceful as the man in your story..."

I can't believe I put 'starts' instead of 'stars' in my last comment! How embarrassing. Yes people...I'm an excellent writer.

I was a wife of a deployed soldier. Thought I would be better off than all the other wives as i had deployed twice myself already.

That year sucked, but we had skype, and boy did we use it. This story actually brings back some pretty fond memories. Great hot read.
