Enjoyed the story. A bit generic theme but enticingly well told and well build scenes with character interaction. Would love to read more.

One minor drawback is my confusion of the princess' origins ... Romany, Gypsy, Gallic, French ... Does it really matter?

Seems it is partially deliberate as this mismatch appears even in the story itself. Why is it an issue in the dialogue between Viking king and G???? princess?
