You have had me binge reading your story with every spare moment I get. This has so many of the things that draw me into a tale. Adventure, suspense, a touch of romance, history. A realistic fantasy. I love being unsure on connections in the story, then with pause look back and see the bread crumb trail leading me through it all. How dare you posting a new chapter without an appearance of Ashunara? Just kidding.

In fact, I had a broad grin on my face from first scene to last. Be it the Crone and her sister, more kick-assery and profiteering by Nyx and her friends, Adair showing a shocking glimpse of her powers, and Tallis' meeting with her mother - I enjoyed every part. I almost fell from my chair when it became clear that the broom that Cassie took along is the Crone's. Cute moment when Adair was going to ask about that old woman at the shrine just to be cut short.

But my highlight for sure was that last exchange between Lily and Tallis' mother: "She's so like you, you know." ... "Who, Tallis?" ... Lily shook her head with a smile, "You're clever, I'm sure you'll figure it out." :-D :-D :-D

I've been binging from chapter one a few days ago, and I have to say... The crone is perhaps my favorite character in a fantasy story since Terry Pratchett's work. Actually, something about her reminds me of his style, come to think of it.

As good as it gets. Superb.
