Saw that coming, but it works for the story. Looking forward to more.

While that does look like a decent stopping point, this chapter felt like it was a little too short. There was some important backstory in this chapter, unfortunately there wasn't really anything else.

This is definitely an interesting tale, and I am very interested to see where it goes.
