Nice little romp, good story but a little short for my liking. However I do love your stories nd read them ASAP.
This is a case study in anthropology, not archaeology. To me, not as enjoyable as your earlier works.
I can't get over the wide range of stories you post eg from cowboys, cops, soldiers, and now Indiana Jones. All of your stories are very enjoyable reads and are a pleasant discovery each time they show up. Thank you.
I enjoyed your story very much. The fact/fiction is always a possibly and brings so many unanswered questions that the so called experts always brush off
Interesting idea for you to make this guy a more common-man Indiana Jones, but posit the tribe he found to be probably be the original Amazons, which was always the original legend once Spaniards started sailing to find the New World.
You constructed Iana's speech to be so charming, and it was a nice touch to make her so intelligent. Robert treated her gently and loved her mightily. I really enjoyed this, and it kept the flavor of your other best works. 5
very interesting but the big blond goddess ignores the reality of women of all sizes and intermarriage over years
otherwise heartwarming and worthy of 5 stars
Beautiful story, especially the revelation at the end when he realizes he found a treasure in the Amazon greater than what he was searching for. 5.0*!
I assume you're talking about Colonel Fawcett but you've changed the name slightly. His was an interesting tale, and there were several different versions of what became of him in South America. Great Story.
