"I had to pay for two hours on the Rising Sun to see you, and I sure do not want to waste any of Kultur, Sex and Sport's money. I do not have any more questions, so perhaps you should show me your room and demonstrate exactly what you do with female customers."

Shortly later, Lena barely glanced around Angela's comfortable but small room before pulling off Angela's robe and giving Angela a kiss. Angela helped Lena disrobe. Soon, Lena was naked and lying back on Angela's bed.

"Your breasts are just as full and lovely as I was told," Angela said as she propped herself above Lena, gently squeezed Lena's breast and began swirling her tongue gently over Lena's left nipple while very lightly moving a fingernail over Lena's right nipple. Lena sighed deeply, and French kissed Angela as soon as Angela's mouth was available.

"Now just lie back, Lena," Angela purred, "You are no stranger to pleasure, but you need to learn that you cannot save the world, but you can enjoy the world as it is if you let some beautiful things happen."

Lena did not believe that for a minute. Lena knew that she could not give up her crusades; she had to try to seek justice and save the world, whether it was hopeless or not. Es ist nicht meine Schuld dass die Welt ist wie ist, es wär meine Schuld wenn sie so bleibt (It is not my fault that the world is as it is, it would be my fault if it stays that way) Lena thought. But maybe, just for now, she would pretend she could accept reality as Angela did.

"Go ahead, Angie, destroy my Wille zur Macht (Will to Power - alluding to writings by Nietzsche) with your hands and your tongue."

Soon, Angela was gently exciting Lena's inner thighs with her fingertips before beginning to work her tongue around Lena's carefully shaved genitals. Grabbing a strategically stored dildo, she worked the tool slowly into Lena's love canal as her tongue moved to Lena's clitoris. Lena's first orgasm followed directly. But Angela kept going until, after several more orgasms, Lena lay motionless on the bed except for her panting and breathing that caused her breasts to rise and fall in the most exquisite manner.

"God, you are beautiful, Lena."

"We still have thirty minutes," Lena said. After looking around the room, she asked, "Does that chair recline."

"Yes, if you are going to have only one chair in a room for a sex slave, it should recline," Angela answered.

Lena hugged Angela, who proceeded to kiss her as Lena moved Angela's body toward the chair, a movement that ended with Angela reclining with her legs spread wide and Lena moving her tongue on the ridges of Angela's folds like careful hikers moving along the top of steep creek beds.

Angela had only a 15-minute break before her next customer. They kissed as Lena left for a hotel room in Tunica, Mississippi, to shower and change before an obligatory social gathering.

DINNER NEAR MEMPHIS

Lena could not diplomatically avoid going out to dinner with the group that Neck had gathered for what was to be the last night of her tour of the Free States. Dr. Frank Galton, Rev. William Loman, Mrs. and Mrs. Max Klug, Mrs. Orville Altschule, and her youngest son, Jeb Altschule, and her oldest son, Captain Ralph Semmes, were there to have dinner and conversation with the famous Lena Fesch. The event was held at the large Germantown mansion of Mrs. Altschule.

Mrs. Altschule wore what Lena thought she recognized as a $5000 dress she had seen advertised in an airline magazine as available from a New York boutique. She was liberally covered in diamonds.

Mrs. Klug was also dressed to kill and, with a low-cut black miniskirt that showed off her excellent figure and legs, much sexier than Free State women generally dressed. Mrs. Klug also looked over Lena to an extent that was more direct than one would expect of a Free States woman.

The atmosphere was very awkward for Lena. Indeed, it appeared to Lena that Neck had planned the whole event to be awkward for her.

Lena was somewhat unnerved by the indentured servants working to serve appetizers and drinks. Lena learned early that dinner would be prime rib without a vegetarian option available. Also, of course, Lena was the only one there who was not from the FASUG. Worst, Lena perceived a general feeling in the air that everyone knew something important that Lena did not know.

Nonetheless, Neck and Mrs. Altschule made a show of trying to make Lena feel welcome and comfortable. Mrs. Altschule said they were incredibly honoured to have the famous journalist Lena Fesch as a guest. This actually made Lena less comfortable as being famous was never her goal, and she thought Mrs. Altschule was being a bit too laudatory.

Standing in the spacious living room, Neck offered, "Our very knowledgeable guest of honor, Frau Lena Fesch, knows some of the people here, but Mrs. Klug, Mrs. Altschule and Jeb Altschule, perhaps you ought to introduce yourselves."

"Yes, Neck, that is a good idea," Mrs. Altschule started. I am Mrs. Orville Altschule. I am not ashamed to say that I am now 70 years old and have had 10 children. Seven by my deceased first husband, Mr. Lester Semmes, father of Captain Semmes, who you know and three by my second husband, Orville Altschule, also sadly deceased. The doctors say it was Covid 36, but I think that is nonsense, and he just should not have smoked so much. Jeb, you want to tell Frau Fesch about yourself."

"I don't know what there is to say except that I am my mother's first child with my father, Orville. I'm 30, graduated from Ole Miss and now work as an assistant buyer for the 100 Bucks gambling and sex boat."

"Frau Fesch, I don't always mention all of my children," Mrs. Altschule said, "but in view of the sorts of facts that I know you will find interesting, one of my sons by my first husband died in the 2029-30 civil war, one of my sons is in prison in France for trying to bring women to the Free States to replace some of the lezzies and sluts who left after the national divorce, one of my daughters by my first husband went to the Socialist States in 2031, and one of Jeb's younger sisters is now in penal servitude on the Venetian sex boat. My youngest child, Scarlett, is only 10.

"You had a child at age 60?" Lena asked.

"Yes, and in the normal way, well, normal if you don't count using the new fertility drugs," Mrs. Altschule replied. "And to save you the trouble of asking, I don't normally mention the traitor who fled north or the slut in the sex boat because, although they came from my body, they are not my children. Eight good children out of ten is not bad."

Lena took a moment to recover from Mrs. Altschule's revelations before saying politely, "I certainly would not have believed, Mrs. Altschule, that you are 70 years old. Do you have a fountain of youth as well as fertility drugs available in the Free States?"

Lena did not ask whether Mrs. Altschule had died her hair to be the color it was when she was 16. Lena was genuinely impressed with Mrs. Altschule's figure and very skillfully done plastic surgery.

"No, Frau Fesch, the Florida fountain of youth was a myth, and it would be underwater now anyway. I have, however, lived my life wisely. Never a drop of alcohol, and I married Mr. Semmes after he arranged with my father that I did so when I was 18. I got right into the business of having children rather than exposing myself to various drugs and diseases, as did so many young women in 1993. Ralph was born in 1994, and Mr. Lester Semmes was able to father six more children before he peacefully passed away at age 80 in 2010."

Lena raised an eyebrow, and Mrs. Altschule continued, "Yes, my husband was over 40 years older than me when we were married, but he was a good Christian man and rich. So, yes, I made my money the old-fashioned way; I married into it.

"In 2010, I was still a spirited young woman of 35, not a fraction to the extent that I have heard you are, but then hardly anyone is. Anyway, I married Mr. Altschule, who was also prosperous and only 53. He died five years ago, leaving me now a very wealthy widow with seven children of which I am very proud and one who died bravely serving his country to free the Free States from baby killers, gun grabbers, socialists and perverts."

A few weeks ago, all these facts about the Free States aristocracy might have been very interesting to Lena, and she would have asked many questions of Mrs. Altschule. Tonight, though, Lena was tired, particularly tired of having to have a gun on her all the time, and just wanted to go home and not be around people with attitudes far different than hers. As it was, Lena just blurted out, "Aren't you concerned about your daughter on the sex boat and your son in a French prison?"

"The daughter on the boat, like the shameless libertine up North, is of no concern to me. The daughter on the boat would never listen to her mother, and I had to report her for committing theft shortly after her 18th birthday. In 2058, she'll probably go join her sister, who I am told is involved in some sort of polyamorous cult near Milwaukee.

"I am very worried about poor Lester Junior, who is in prison for life just for trying to assist the Free States relieve the then current shortage of fecund women. As you may have heard, after the national divorce, a very large percentage of women between 18 and 50 went where they could murder their babies and engage in various forms of lechery and sodomy. That problem has been largely erased by the laws against nubile women leaving the Free States. The high birth rate since 2031 should soon end the problem entirely.

"We have repeatedly petitioned the EU and France, but they refuse to release any of the men involved in the heroic effort to secure women of 2035."

Thinking of the Sabine women, Lena was not overwhelmed with sympathy for the kidnappers whose similar attempted was foil. She chose diplomatically to say nothing except to ask Mrs. Klug about herself.

Although Mrs. Klug was a beauty herself, she had been admiring Lena's figure and winked at Lena before saying, "I don't have nearly as interesting a life history as Jennifer Altschule, I'm afraid. I'm 30; my maiden name was Zoe White when I married Max. As Mrs. Altschule was so forthcoming, I guess I should admit that Max is over 20 years older than me, but as you can see, he is still very youthful and healthy. We have three lovely children and live in Little Rock, where the children are with a babysitter. It must seem very boring to you, Ms. Fesch."

"I would not say that, Mrs. Klug, or would you rather be called Zoe. It is fine with me if everyone calls me Lena," Lena answered. Lena was impressed with Zoe's figure, particularly after three children, and did not hide the direction of her eyes below Zoe's Neck.

"Thank you, Jeb, Mrs. Altschule, and Zoe, for the introductions," Lena said before deliberately redirecting the conversation away from herself by asking how the college football season had been reorganized after the national divorce. This last question naturally got all of the men to explain how all the best college teams had always been in the Free States and that they really did not need to see Old Miss, the Crimson Tide, the Georgia Bulldogs and Nebraska play a bunch of inferior schools of the SDSA especially as most of the SDSA and PMSA colleges had quit playing real football because of fear of head injuries. "Those socialist weenies all play what we call soccer," Jeb Altschule offered.

But the patriotic Free States natives did not want to engage in harmless chat about sports but to needle Lena. They felt compelled to show a radical, feminist, left-leaning journalist that many of her assumptions about the Free States and life in general were misplaced. Mrs. Altschule and her sons were particularly eager to challenge what they assumed were Lena's views on sex slavery. Also, of course, Rev. Loman could not help wanting to attack the presumably atheist Lena for her sinful views on sex. Neck, Galton, Max and Zoe Klug were amused to watch how Daniel did in the Lion's Den.

Mrs. Altschule began the assault by asking, "Frau or Ms. Fesch or Lena, you have been travelling about our beautiful Free States for three weeks; what are your impressions? I'm certain your insights will be far more insightful than Alexis de Tocqueville's were of the early United States."

"My," Lena said, "my powers of perception are quite limited and should not be compared to those of important figures like de Tocqueville.

"I saw beautiful mountains, prairies, forests and rivers and much more open land than one can see in Europe. I met many friendly people and found that much of the food was wonderful. I have grown especially fond of collard greens, okra and yams, which are rare to see on the menu in Germany."

Pressing the attack, Mrs. Altschule said, "I am delighted that you found so much of nature and on the menu that pleases you in the Free States, but Mr. Wallace has told us that you visited a lot of business sites and saw a number of human activities that I believe you do not have in your country. In particular, Neck Wallace tells us that you were able to see an auction in New Orleans and several of the gambling boats that feature other pleasures below deck. You did not see anything that displeased you, did you, Ms. Fesch?"

"Yes, I did do some of that and learned a number of important things, but now, if you do not mind, I believe I need a short break to adjust my makeup."

"Certainly, dear," turning to a woman dressed in a drab, rough, grey dress, Mrs. Altschule said, "Beth, show Frau Fesch the green comfort suite."

Lena might have liked to speak at length with Beth as she was plainly an indentured servant. Lena learned that "comfort suite" was Mrs. Altschule's word for toilet and that the green comfort room was the most spacious of the four comfort suites on the mansion's first floor.

Sitting on the couch in the fainting room that was part of the green comfort suite, Lena wished she could just climb out of a window, crawl back to her hotel room and rest for her flight the following day. Lena knew that was impossible. After a few minutes of resting and meditating, Lena pulled herself together and went back out to face the lions, hoping that the discussion had moved to football, interior decoration or the weather.

Unfortunately, the party had not decided to let her avoid discussing the culture war issues posed by the differences between the laws and customs of the EU and the FASUG. Fortunately, as she walked back toward Mrs. Altschule's palatial living room, Lena recovered her inquisitiveness and fighting spirit.

"Well, I hope you are feeling well, Frau Fesch, we were all speculating while you were away on what you would say you learned about differing customs between the Free States and Europe," Mrs. Altschule said.

"I feel quite well, thank you. I was just a bit tired after so much whirling about the last weeks. As to what I learned, I guess the main thing I learned was that some of the Free States laws of which I heard, are as harsh as I had heard," Lena responded.

Staring at Lena's body openly, Jeb jeered and said, "You don't say," and sort of giggled obscenely.

"What in particular did you have in mind?" Mrs. Altschule asked in a tone that made clear that she had a few laws in mind that she thought Lena might dislike and would despise her for questioning them.

"Well, of course, all the slavery or servitude if you would prefer, and how those in servitude are treated."

"Could you provide particulars?" Mrs. Altschule asked in a tone fitting the "bad cop" in detective stories.

Lena took a deep breath and then said, "I hardly know where to start."

"Do the best you can; this isn't a test; we're all just trying to learn more about comparative cultures here," Mrs. Altschule said while Neck and Dr. Galton looked on amused. Jeb continued to stare at Lena below the Neck, and Max and Zoe Klug looked on with interest. Captain Semmes seemed a bit embarrassed by the directness and persistence of his mother's questions.

"Well, ok, it seems all the crimes for everything from shoplifting to two teenage girls being caught kissing carry a penalty of 40 years imprisonment with the understanding that a year is given off for each year of good behavior. Is not twenty years imprisonment a bit harsh for such offences?"

"The logic of the twenty-year sentences is clear. It does not have to do with the nature of the crimes but with the normal period of reproduction of the human female. God has made women to have children for twenty years or more. At least as early as the ancient Romans, it was clear that the emancipation of women led to turning away from God, the birth rate plummeting, and the fall of the empire.

"Women should start having children no later than age 18, when they are young and healthy, and focus on those children and their husbands. If they want to take up gardening, philosophy, or astrophysics in their late 40s, that is acceptable. It is perverse, however, for women to waste their best childbearing years accumulating degrees and useless knowledge. I have never understood why anyone ever thought women should attend college at age 18.

"If a woman shows that she is not willing to follow the injunctions of her creator, we make sure that she does so one way or the other. Often, that means she goes to the boats," Mrs. Altschule said. "I fulfilled my faith and my duty voluntarily, and my good daughters are doing likewise. The slut daughter had to start on Sultan and, by learning to cooperate, has made it to the Venetian. I gather she has produced two bastards and will produce more. She will never be allowed to kill her babies."

Lena was temporarily speechless and looked around the room to see if everyone was taking Mrs. Altschule seriously. Seeing no evidence that what Mrs. Altschule said was a joke, Lena said, "What you have just said about your own daughter frankly shocks me, as does your view that we should live as people did before civilization. When the Bible was written, many children died in the first year, and a woman who started having children at 16 and died in childbirth at age 32 might have increased the population If she had 10 children. The world is not like that now, thankfully.

"With regard to your last remark, even if you assume that abortion is murder, you do not even distinguish using birth control from abortion," Lena said.

"You missed the point, Lena," Mrs. Altschule said. "The problem is not the gravity of the crime committed; it is developing an impious attitude, a desire to have sex purely for fun, and the woman indicating that she is going to fail to do her duty to have children. My second bad daughter was already 23, disobeying her father and giving me sass; it was clear that she had to be forced to do what she should."

"Yes," Rev. Loman added. "Regarding birth control, as the Pope once said, 'Despite their differences of nature and moral gravity, contraception and abortion are often closely connected, as fruits of the same tree. John Paul II Evangelium vitae, n. 13.' I don't always agree with what Popes say, especially with all that blessed are the poor stuff, but John Paul II was sure right about birth control.

"The Comstock Act of the 19th Century prohibited mailing of materials regarding abortion, birth control and pornography alike. Naturally, after the U.S. Supreme Court overruled Roe v. Wade, it had to overrule Griswald v. Connecticut, which prevented states from forbidding birth control. After the national divorce, the Free States took the logical step of prohibiting the distribution of materials for birth control and prohibited people from travelling to obtain birth control; each of the Free States made every form of birth control illegal.

"And the Holy Word says to be fruitful and multiply, not to be fruitful until the infant mortality rate falls," Loman added. "Plainly having sex when there is no possibility of conception is just another form of wasting the seed."
