The writing was well done, as usual. The short length knocked off a star. ( I really do have to say the early cliffhanger really put a buzz kill on me for this story. )

I think the story may have legs if it’s fleshed out significantly.

Oddly, I'm not worried about the length mostly because the main point of these is something i can put out for my readers in between TRC chapters.

FYI: TRC chapters run 10-12k words (usually) which is the equivalent of around 30 pages if printed in a novel (estimates I've seen run between 400-350 words per page)

I'm finding it difficult to get that much written on a weekly basis. With The Witch's Offering I can at least be putting out something every week.
