This story is tantalizing, and paced very effectively. I certainly thought we'd see Jim nail her in this installment, given where the story seemed to be going. But, I thought you did a very good job of building the story and effectively adding the element of a phone call from her husband into the mix. I'd love to see further installments of this story. Definitely some effective writing, and enjoyable.

I read chapter 1 the other day and was very excited to see chapter 2 now posted. I love the detailed descriptions of what Cheryl is wearing--or not wearing--and her feelings about being observed by others. I'm hoping she changes into something ridiculously slutty and revealing to go to the burger joint. Can't wait for chapter 3!
