Well, just reading that all the way through could probably cause permanent brain damage. Luckily, the plot (or lack of one) didn't make it worth the risk.

Makings of a superb story. Please find an editor and "flesh" this one out. It was rushed, with no detail of surroundings. You need to let the reader see the story, so explain the surroundings, the clothes, the drapes, the floor, and the ranch. Put some time and effort here - this could be really quite good.
